Super. Lovely settings and tasty desserts. Service was not overly friendly and the prices are a lttle high as you would expect when seeing the place from the outside. Will deffinitly go again.

This is one of these places that never seem to change. A must-do if you enjoy old-fashioned chique. Tea in porcelain pots, plates with a golden rim and a monogramme. The desserts are scrumptous. The service is a bit arrogant, but it's part of the Meerts experience.

If you like sweets, biscuits, cakes, ... and lovely flavored the ... then this place is really fun. Probably you have to queue for quite some time ... but it's worth waiting. Beautiful building, nice interior out of the past (where the 'noblesse' was certainly at home ... but I with my jeans also) ... quick professional waiters ... and... More

We stopped in to take a break and enjoy a cup of tea and a pastry. The tea room is comfortable and inviting and there is a huge selection of teas and goodies. The servers all seemed to be scurrying around but customers, including us, didn't seem to be getting a lot of attention. We wondered what was keeping them... More

But enjoyed the experience. Yes, pricy but but so far above the tawdy cafes around the Grand Place.A civilized establishment serving a wide variety of correctly made teas in pretty pots accompanied by delicious cakes. Would have given max points but for the tea bag I discovered in the strong breakfast blend I ordered. For those old enough think Lyons... More

My friend brought me here to experience one of France's oldest establishments. We ordered a cafe creme, a chaud chocolat and a raspberry cake to share. The cake looked stunning but the taste wasn't anything unique. The cafe creme was alright as well but the star of the show was the hot chocolate. It was crazy rich. It was as... More

We had this in our plan for the day. The venue is lovely and the staff very friendly. The hot chocolate was amazing and a good size. However €19 for two hot chocolates and two small cold waffles is pretty steep. The waffles where €6 each but you can buy a pack for €15? I would advise to go to... More

If you like your brunch slow and cold this is the place to go - we love slow and cold food. Supposedly Jean Paul Gaultier's mum used to buy waffles here for him as a child, and we can see why - a special place for a treat

VIsted here on Tuesday 24th September. We had tea, coffee and a couple of pastries I highly recommend the safari cake which is a light chocolate praline mousse. Prices are quite expensive but worth it. The tea rooms are wheelchair accessible. Great tea room will visit again.

This place is a must when vising Lille. Belle Epoque surrounding makes you forget the century you live in, and let the time machine take you back a century or two where slow paced you can indulge into decadent tasting of perfect pastries... the only trouble - you can't possible try them all. You can take along your kids... if... More
