Had dinner here last night. Very French restaurant which was recommended to us by a bar we had been in earlier. Interesting starters, very filling, and then onglet and kidneys as main courses. Both served with gratin potatoes and other veg. Both meals well cooked and nicely presented. With a bottle of red wine and dessert, total was a very... More

We pre booked the restaurant as part of my team's day out to lille. We had 2 courses, both were great and they didn't hurry us out. Lamb shank with potato daupinoise was a highlight. Struggled to rustle up butter for the bread (may have been poor English but 'there is none' seemed a bit far fetched for a restaurant)... More

A small brasserie with typical French food done well in plentiful proportions. House Bordeaux white excellent. We shared the terrine platter followed by lamb chops & Saintes Jacques. A very pleasant evening.

The typical little French brasserie I guess I can't say A lot about how things normally are or go in this restaurant since I went here during the annually 'braderie' event de Lille. During this weekend they have a little fixed menu.. I've read about the wines they serve but even the wines are narrowed down to red, white and... More

Noisy. Bustling. Brash. Cramped. Atmospheric. This is not the place to go if you are after an intimate dinner for two in quiet surroundings so it is best enjoyed, as we did, in a small party. Don't expect haute cuisine - they make no pretence that this is. And don't expect rapid service - you will get your food when... More

the menu did not have a huge range, but i must say that their dishes were all authentic and excellent. I had a grilled steak with fries, served with sides of ratatouille, gratin and cauliflower (cooked with egg?). I think they are famous for their Potjevlessch, a terrine made with four kinds of meat.. including rabbit :c overall a very... More

Excellent food cooked and presented with enthusiasm. Service was excellent when we arrived to a relatively empty restaurant but as it filled up the staff struggled a little to cope. highly recommended for a taste of cooking form a different region of France.

we were just after a small evening meal plus wine and a desert and we just stumbled on this place. What a great place and what great food and service. The waitress was delightful and very friendly despite our lousy French. The food that we had was delicious, tureen and foie gras plus profiteroles and ice cream. The cost was... More
