Worth finding

Three friends passing through for one night on a sailing trip. The restaurant is a little hidden but worth it. We had the tasty duck main and various starters and desserts which were all tasty and we'll presented. Pleasant hosts and Bob especially says thanks.

As with most first time visits you check to see if busy especially with local residents. So ticking all the boxes we decided to give it a try. Well pleased we did. For starters my wife had the Whelks etc. and I had the safe hot camembert with toast. Followed by Pork Ribs (very large portion and tender suspect this... More

We came to Dunkirk for the first time a couple of weeks ago and we checked trip advisor before went and pre-booked restaurants for the weekend. Upon arrival we were seated and I asked for some water for our dogs which didn't come until I asked two more times. My husband and I are having French lessons at the moment... More

At the end of this review I will show a few pics, one being the bill. This is the biggest bill we ever had. Now do not get me wrong we were prepared to pay for GOOD French food. What we got was a combination of Fantastic food and oddness. I started with a type of platter, which included prawns,... More

You have to search for this one but it's not far from the centre at Place Jeanne d'Arc. Lovely food, super sauced range of meats and fish, great wine lists with half bottles too. There's good service and no long waits - very popular on Bank Holiday Monday, with the locals, In the hour we were there they served 34... More

We have lunched here twice at a total cost of between 50 and 70 euros for two, including drinks. The ambiance is modern, and very comfortable, Tables are a sensible distance apart. Everything is clean and neat - including the lavatories. The restaurant is in an anonymous modern building in central Dunkerque. Parking (paid) is fairly easy. The cuisine is... More
