we went to the first floor inner yard, surrounded by some plants and the typical Toulouse brick walls. The set up is quite ok. After a long wait, a waiter came and leave us the menu. We ordered an aperitif that came with olives ten minutes later. Then a had some black pig ham dish while my friend had some... More

Surprised at other reviews. Restaurant is on second floor, first floor is bar and snack menu. All three waiters that came to our table at different points were friendly. Both our main courses were pretty good, not off the charts. Desert was amazing!

The meat was so-so and the service not so friendly. Very rowdy restaurant with no finesse. We had their specialty, a lamb dish, which was more like mutton, sort of dumped in the plate with very little attention. The other dish was an ordinary roast chicken. It was very noisy. Very overrated.

Went here to watch the France VI Rugby game last Saturday. It was one of the few places outside of the pubs that we were certain was broadcasting the game. We arrived at 7:45pm and the few tables were full as was the bar. After waiting for a while we were finally able to get one seated and one standing... More

Having eaten in the temporary traiteur which they operated during the three week festival of "Jazz in Marciac", we decided that we should sample their more formal offerings in their restaurant in Toulouse - it was easy to find located close to the Victor Hugo market. There are two places to eat - a bistro, which was closed, and a... More

After thousands of restaurants in more than fifty countries they managed to awe us with the quality of their rack of lamb. Picture this, cut of the best meat you'll ever have, chips fried in duck fat and a side salad. What could go wrong? Nothing. Simple? Yes. Delicious? Hell yes!

On a holiday evening, J'Go may be your only choice. The staff are friendly and solicitous, but they have more customers than they can serve adequately. The food is passable and hearty. Beans abound.

Ate here last night with work colleagues. very meaty menu delicious starter with saucisson and home made pate etc mains was lamb very nice. unfortunately a trip to the toilets had myself and a colleague wrenching after from the bad smell. Reminded me of a music festival not experienced that in a restaurant before.

In Toulouse on business. Eaten here on a number of occasions.always good to see how things are. Ate downstairs in the bar area. For me the usual choice. Lou Pastifret - thick rillette like pate made with Black Pig from Bigorre. Served with bread and cornichons. Main course - gigot rose with beans. Drank a bottle of La Petite Derna... More

There is a bistro next door which would have been better than the bar. Food is a series of different tapas style food - not brilliant, but I don't think people go here for the food. Clearly an 'in' place for young locals. Think I'm getting too old!
