A really lovely small restaurant with a great atmosphere. It is renown for it's fish dishes, so as we were there for a lunch we took the set menu for 21 euros. Absolutely delicious smoked salmon followed by a gorgeous piece of merlu; do not know the translation. Dessert was scrumptious

Ate here on our first night in Toulouse. We chose the three course set menu for 41E, which gives you a choice of 2 options for the first two courses. Between the three people in my party, we tried all 4 options. Everything was delicious, and you can tell that this is consistent because my food looked exactly like the... More

Absolutely superb foie gras starter and maigret du canard (duck) main course. The best. I have been back to this restaurant so many times and it never disappoints. The ambience and decor is quite fitting for such a beautiful city.

We came to Chez Emile on our hotel's recommendation on a Saturday night... after Toulouse riots! Everything in the centre had been closed up with shutters down and tables in at the request of the police but we were warmly welcomed and directed upstairs where they were doing their best to cope! The menu was very tempting but we settled... More

We chose the 41 euro menu and both had smoked salmon for starters. It was delicious and plentiful. I had the fish platter for mains with several varieties of fish all cooked very well. My husband really enjoyed the cassoulet, but couldn't manage to eat it all. We both enjoyed our desserts. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere magic... More

The restaurant is in the hearth of Toulose, we had dinner in October 2014, the weather was good and the plaza was full of young people drinking and eatinf. So you can imagine the atmosphere. I had filet de boeuf with fries (27 euro), it was very good but a little bit expensive for the quantity we had. My colleague... More

This is one of the restaurants we visit more often, first because of its location in the Place St Georges which is pretty in and on itself. We bring in visitors that come to Toulouse to enjoy a good Cassoulet - I personally enjoy more their menus and their good selection of wines. I would not recommend it to come... More

We were recommended this restaurant by the hotel where we stayed - and it did not disappoint. We took the EUR40 menu, which included the cassoulet - and it was excellent. Take the trouble to get a table inside - much more intimate and avoids the mass of people eating at cramped tables on the pavement. Helpful servers!

As the title says, it was a good meal, but the food was over-priced. The starters were delicious. We had the tomatoes Chez Jean-Luc, and the sea bass tataki. For mains, we had the sea bream - again very tasty - and the scallops. The scallops were plump and nice but did not marry very well to the bitterness of... More
