Delicious!

We asked our hotel to make a reservation and were able to get in on the same day. The duck here was amazing. I had the cassoulet and my partner the duck breast. It has inspired me to make cassoulet at home. Wine was very reasonably priced and very tasty too!

We were recommended to eat here based on the recommendation of a wine bar server at the nearby market. Definitely get reservations. Fantastic service and authentic southwestern France cuisine. We were treated to the best cassoulet I've ever had. The service was impeccable and were very hospitable. It was great that they had English menus for us to order off... More

No trip to Toulouse is complete without a dinner at Chez Emile. First, of all the setting at Place St. George is the place to be on warm, summer's night. The square bustles with action, as there are six restaurants on the square. Second, the food is that perfect mix of creative and traditional, doing all the standards with a... More

We chose Chez Emile by chance, as it looks over a beautiful square that we had passed through while sightseeing. On one of the hottest nights for years in Toulouse, we appreciated the air conditioning upstairs, with our table having a lovely view over the dancing in the Place St George. We were five people, and everyone chose a different... More

I think the staff here can only really be described as rude. We asked for a table for 3 and were advised to get a drink in the immediately adjacent bar and they would call us over when the table was ready. When, 45 minutes later, I asked if our table was ready they tried to pretend they'd never seen... More

What a great location, situated in one corner of a large square where half of Toulouse appears to congregate. If it is your first time to Toulouse and the weather is on the cool side then you should probably try a big hearty meal of casoulet which is indigenous to the region, as is duck or foie gras but all... Nice place, but unfortunately low level service and normal food. All this for an high price level. Frankly there is some better in town

Toulouse is well known for its Epicurean attitude, and Chez Emile is ready to stand its ground in a very competitive environment. If you can get a table outside in a summer evening you will feel very privileged, being served absolutely excellent food in such a sociable and pleasant environment. We treated ourselves to a rather fancy meal for a... More

The best restaurant experience in a while. Combined with the atmosphere of sitting outside, thoughtful service and very well prepared food, Chez Emile is definitely a place to come back to.

We enjoyed our meal at this restaurant, dining outdoors on a warm evening and watching the activity in the square. Good food and regional specialties.
