Description: Michel Sarran restaurant in Toulouses charming old town is a townhouse eaterie that boasts a pair of Michelin stars, understated warmth and style, and the most famous gastronomic name in the city. Michels wife Francoise greets you and shows you to the bubbling, modern ground floor dining room, the leafy terrace, or one of the more subdued, romantic first floor dining rooms. Sarran has made his name with ambitious, subtle gastronomy focussing on the best regional, seasonal ingredients: warm foie gras soup with Belon oysters, wild salmon cooked and cru with green curry emulsion and soba noodles and shellfish, chicken and egg with Aquitaine caviar. The lunchtime Saveurs menu is a steal. Wines and service are superb and the amuse-bouche delightful.

Michelin stars quality food and service Toulouse is a blessed city with several Michelin star restaurants; in our hotel we picked a rather big booklet with all the culinary choices this beautiful city has to offer. We had the chance (a last minute cancelation gave us the opportunity) and pleasure to try the cuisine of Michel Serran on our first... More

From the minute you enter this restaurant you are immediately made welcome. We went with friends who had been before and they were recognised as such. Interesting surroundings, great atmosphere, knowledgeable staff, marvellous food beautifully presented with well chosen wines to accompany each course. A memorable lunch and a highlight of our holiday.

I had family in town this past week and wanted to take them somewhere very special, Michel Sarran ticked the boxes. Service was wonderful and our "savers d'Occitante" menu was divine. The two Michelin stars are well deserved

I went to dinner for my birthday with my girlfriend and had a wonderful time. Great restaurant with exceptional food. We ordered the chef's sampler menu paired with wine. Although it was expensive, it was well worth it. Definitely a must visit!!!

Housed in an elegant building overlooking the ancient walls of the University. it is a picture to behold. The dining-room, on the first floor is a haven of calm with simple but beautiful decorations that echo 'Indo- China' Looking at the patrons, one cannot but join in the infectious excitement, a sense of anticipation of great things to come. My experience at Michel Sarran can't really be described in a message as it was probably one of the best ones in my life. From the moment we entered this restaurant, located in a city we first thought we would get bored (sorry Toulouse but you're far from being NYC), the staff made us feel like treasured guests and the... We've eaten in a few good restaurants over the years and regard ourselves as quite discerning: we know what we like and one of the things we like is good value! People sometimes wonder what the fuss is about restaurants with Michelin Stars and think it will be tiny plates of morsels! We've actually never experienced that and it would... More

Rarely have I seen or tasted such artistry in food. I'm sure that the secret to Michel Sarran's success, is simply that well beyond being an undeniably brilliant chef he's also a true "Customer Service Obsessive" and absolutely determined to seduce your palate, to knock your sox off and to never put a foot wrong along the way. Every wonderful... More

I end up a trip through Italia and France in Michel Sarran's restaurant in Toulouse since some of my friends advised me to try it. As a Swiss food lover, I have to say I’ve never been so much plunged into the happiest period of my childhood when my French grandma was preparing amazing dinner at home! I enjoyed the... More
