Only restaurant that you don't have to worry about your French

Fixed menu restaurant so you don't have to worry about French menu and the English incapable persons. You will get tons of french fries and an average meat but the sauce is the key for me to like it. Do not expect much but worth to try. I am sure better places to eat in Touluse anyway but you... read more

They have been in Toulouse forever, on Wednesday Saturday and Sunday lunch there is a line of people waiting outside to be seated. No reservations possible. But once you get in : A simple salad for starters And then the best ( fine sliced ) entrecôte with their more than famous sauce and home made French fries ( a go... More

€20 for salad, perfectly cooked steak and French fries. No choice so no messing, food served promptly by lovely waitress too. We chose half a dozen bottles of a local red (Gaillac) and weren't disappointed. A couple of the boys finished with a veritable mountain of profiteroles which they praised too. This restaurant comes highly recommended.

The food was good value but nothing great. However the ambience was good and I was amazed at the queue. It was there Friday night them Saturday lunchtime and then in the evening. Truly amazing as other restaurants around it were half full Would recommend for a good night out

As others note, the nice part is, it doesn't take a lot of thinking to order... only one set menu... steak, buttery sauce, mountains of excellent fries and Bordeaux. Delicious :) We went at 9pm (just as the first evening sitting was finishing) and the queue was only 5 minutes... much earlier and the wait would have been much longer.

I have now been twice to the fabulous restaurant and cannot fault it in anyway! The steak is cooked to perfection with a speedy service! Go early to guarantee yourself a table as queues form early, a tell tell sign of how good this restaurant is! Can't wait to go back again!

Fantastic place to spend a good time. The restaurant does only serve one dish - a perfect steak with some french fries... No reservations! Usually long queues.

Set price for walnut salad and steak with frites. The service is fast and efficient, the only choice you make is how you want your steak cooked. The big winner with my family is the delicious sauce the meat comes in plus the all you can eat frites option. You might have to queue to get in but it's worth... More
