I have been visiting this restaurant for over 15 years now and it never fails to disappoint. Such a simple idea of one salad, only beef but cooked to your liking, chips topped up if required, about 10 dessert choices, and these days 3 red wine types (although the original Bordeaux is still the best). You can not book so... More

As other reviews have mentioned, in essence this is a one dish restaurant. For a set price of 19 euros you get a starter, steak and chips. But lets qualify this ... the starter is poor as only in France can they serve a plate of lettuce, a few walnuts with a dressing and call it a 'salad'. The steak... More

Fixed menu, red meat and fries, makes it easy for non French speaker, just choose your drink, desert and enjoy lots of fries and amazing entrecôte with a secret sauce. We came quite early so we don't had to queue for a table. I will definitely go back when I come back to Toulouse. Never thought a one dish restaurant... More

A one dish restaurant, steak and chips with a delicious sauce. The starter was a walnut salad, then the steak, absolutely delicious, with fantastic chips. A lovely meal served by a very friendly waitress. And the cost, just 19€, fantastic. People were queuing to get in.

Have visited this restaurant 3 or 4 times and its always been consistent. There's no menu the waitress just wants to know how you want your steak cooked. Great green salad with a lovely dressing to start followed by your steak, finely sliced, and great fries. Cost is around €20 a head, very good value.

Fixed menu restaurant so you don't have to worry about French menu and the English incapable persons. You will get tons of french fries and an average meat but the sauce is the key for me to like it. Do not expect much but worth to try. I am sure better places to eat in Touluse anyway but you have... More

They have been in Toulouse forever, on Wednesday Saturday and Sunday lunch there is a line of people waiting outside to be seated. No reservations possible. But once you get in : A simple salad for starters And then the best ( fine sliced ) entrecôte with their more than famous sauce and home made French fries ( a go... More

€20 for salad, perfectly cooked steak and French fries. No choice so no messing, food served promptly by lovely waitress too. We chose half a dozen bottles of a local red (Gaillac) and weren't disappointed. A couple of the boys finished with a veritable mountain of profiteroles which they praised too. This restaurant comes highly recommended.

The food was good value but nothing great. However the ambience was good and I was amazed at the queue. It was there Friday night them Saturday lunchtime and then in the evening. Truly amazing as other restaurants around it were half full Would recommend for a good night out
