traditionnal Brasserie in central Toulouse

Le Pyreneen is THE traditional french brasserie in Toulouse city center. Food is simple but authentic and of great taste. Tartare, bavette and salads are generous and fresh. Service is executive and friendly. prices are reasonable. one of the best deals in central Toulouse !

Just what a French Brasserie should be (even without the brewery) and wish there was one like it every town. Pity they will not take reservations but tables should be available most nights for arrivals before 8:00. Great service, great food and reasonable wine

Great restaurant. Went twice at the end of March. Stayed outside of the city with my brother and his girlfriend who is French. Was recommended to visit here by a local bar owner. A warm welcome upon arrival was busy which is always a good sign. Very relaxed atmosphere. Waiters very polite and friendly. Great menu choice including fish and... More

On a recommendation, first time in Toulouse, we headed over to Le Pyreneen after 17 hours travel from L.A. What a terrific way to start our trip. A true Parisian-style: raw bar in front, tables, long bar at entry, sidewalk tables, and a waiter right out of a 1920's Campari poster. Food was TERRIFIC; with specialties of the region emphasized,... More

Thanks a lot to the team for GREAT food and service, cant forget the snails and delicious goat cheese salad, which was made by request for some dish with famouse french cheese. Having been to this restaurant several times, my mouth starts to water when thinking of going there, it has all the right ingredients; simple but strong menu of french classics that one cannot find in regular restaurants anymore, an ambiance that cannot be more french and it's very romantic if you are with the right person! Diving into frog legs,... More

Le Pyreneen is perfectly located in the centre of Toulouse and has the ability to draw you in as you pass! It is very typically a French brasserie with its decor, seating, ambience etc. We found the service excellent, the staff knowledgeable and informative (and entertaining!) and food very good. The smoked a salmon was delicious! All in all, we... More

This restaurant is located near the centre of Toulouse and offers classic French dishes and seafood (oysters!) of good quality. Service is efficient and correct. Choice of wines in half bottles is quite limited and prices are on the high side. Outside dining is offered but the number of seats are limited and you may be disturbed by clients going... More

when you arrive to the brasserie Le Pyreneen you are already very welcome from the professional staff. The restaurant is the typical French Brasserie with beautiful art deco decoration; the card is perfectly balanced with meat and Fish even if this is the place to get "plateau de fruit de mer" (fresh fish)...I would recommend the cote de Boeuf if...
