Very good price-quality ratio. Food is excellent and original, service is nice, and decoration is very original. You can go with your kids, or if you want to feel like a kid again! It is very small, you have to reserve in advance.

We went early, on the back of reviews from Trip Advisor , and asked for a table at 1240. By 1pm the place was full. The menu is small like the place itself but all the food was beautifully prepared in just the right the right size portions and just the right balance of flavours. The waiter also made very... More

I enjoyed this restaurant with the original childhood theme. There were a lot of references I did not understand on the menu as these are items that are from a French childhood, still I thought the quality and of the dishes were very high standard. Some of the dishes are quite heavy, I think I should have asked for advice... More

This cheerful, quirky restaurant takes you back to the happy and careless days of childhood. And It's well worth the trip: you'll find traditional or more modern dishes, with unusual combinations of flavours or ingredients (I recommend the goat cheese and basil ravioles, yum); the menu is avried and changes regularly. Taking that trip is, however, no easy task: it... More

I have been wanting to go for a few weeks now and finally got there. Reservations are necessary even for lunch, as several parties were turned away. There is a lunch menu with a wide variety of dishes on it. I enjoyed a soup with chestnut purée and a poached egg. My plate was a pintade with fresh vegetables in... More

Firstly thanks to the other reviewers, because otherwise I don't think we would have ever come across this little restaurant. We were also very lucky to get a table. We arrived just before opening time and the staff were having a meal on the footpath. They told us if we came back right on opening time they could fit us... More

We tried this place on the strength of the reviews and because it was close to our hotel (Pullman). We didn't book and were lucky to get a space on the pavement on a warm evening. I would seriously suggest booking as lots of people were turned away as they were full. The menu was what I would call "modern... More

we had lunch here twice in one week. the menu is small, but excellent. the first time we had salads (Caesar and ham); the second time we ate duck breast and Moroccan-style lamb. but almost better than the food is the delightful atmosphere and extremely friendly service. i felt almost like an old friend the second time around!

After a wonderful day in Toulouse, my hubby and I went back to our hotel (Pullman) and searched for somewhere to spend my birthday evening. This little place seemed perfect. We went along and we were very surprised by its schoolroom/cartoon/90s France feel. There was one table left and we were sure we weren't going to be in luck but... More

We visited Les Sales Gosses on a Saturday for lunch. The choices on the day's menu were excellent - I selected a lobster bisque, the duck pot-au-feu and the chocolate ravioli with mandarin oranges. All three courses were excellent. The restaurant was completely full, but the service was always friendly and responsive. The schoolhouse decor was interesting, although I was... More
