Nice reataurant with good service

Food is very good with a focus on local ingredients. Plenty of choice if dishes with all the region's specialities.Good selection of wines. Service is good and quick. Only hiccup was a the creme brulee which wasn't set.

Fine table in a cosy ambiance. We booked a table for a monday dinner and the restaurant was full. We had "Cassoulet" and "Magret de canard" and the duck was delicious. Then we went on with a "moelleux au chocolat" which was great. We certainly recommand this table for anyone who wants to taste excellent South-West French Cuisine.

A lovely menu with SUCH great service... little extras from the manager since we were there for a late service : ) I had the pigeon and my husband the foie gras burger. The wine was great too.

It was my best meal of "Foie Gras" while I was in Toulouse...ask for the 500mg of "Foie gras" and enjoy your meal. I guess you should start a diet before going to this restaurant :)

Excellent food, especially the foie, a unique experience! Great value for the money, quality and quantity are really good. As a point to improve, the waiter did not have much time to write down our order, we asked a couple questions and he seemed a bit impatient. One more waiter would improve the quality of the service.

Great food, classic, simple French food. Tasty desserts and good wine (they have their own "les copains d'abord" label which is very good)! Friendly staff. The restaurant has recently been renovated, too.

We went to Le copains d'aboard to celebrate my mom's birthday. The place looks good and the atmosphere was nice. We decided to taste the "Folie d'epicure". Oddly enough we had to decide our dessert at the same time of the appetizer. This was only the first of several disappointing events with the server including a glass which never showed... More

Soggy pizza and nowhere open on Sunday gives way to Monday when hardly anywhere is open either. Happily our hostesse at the peniche Amboise a short stroll along the Canal du Midi knew that this one was open. And what a delight. I had been in Copains d'abord before, and this is why I chose this restaurant for our civil wedding. We asked them to suggest a menu with our requirement for 20 people and will work from there and the first suggestion was just perfect! Just be aware that the portions are for big appetite. Went to this restaurant with my boyfriend and his mum. The restaurant was not very full, so the ambience wasn't brilliant, but it was Easter Monday so it was expected.
