Cool and chic

We were celebrating my return to Chile with my sister and her husband, So they take me to the bistrot. The hots were incredibly friendly and warm. The waiter came to us with a big table with the menu, really nice and different to see! We start with the mojitos, and chips. Both amazing, then we ate... read more

7 Sep 2015 4 Place de Damloup 31000 Toulouse 05 61 62 48 57 You can make reservations on line. It seemed to us they limit the number of tables so they can provide excellent food and service, so reservations are necessary. We took a long walk on a cool fall night from our apartment near Pont de Catalans, past... More

Was here alone for dinner on a Thursday night. The owner was very friendly, and translated every single dish to English for me. He did that in great detail. He also explained the wine, and each dish as they came. I had the cooked foie gras for entree, tuna steak for main and a dessert. All dishes were excellent. Would... More

As a group of 15 we received some of the most personalised service I have ever enjoyed from this Sister & Brother team. As passionate as they are knowledgeable about their food and wine we all had a wonderful meal and whenever in Toulouse again I will return. Highly recommended. Its not a large place but it has a big... More

Off the beaten track but worth finding. Run by a brother and sister partnership. Choice of 4 starters and 5 mains. Our group of 14 tried everything and couldn't find fault with any of the dishes, including dessert. Friendly service and very good value.

Was here when they opened on a Friday evening. The staff (I guess the owner) was really friendly and translated everything on the menu to English. There is a selection of wines on the wine list from different regions. We had a small child with us, but there was not a problem as they could improvise a child menu. As... More

We enjoyed dinner at Le Bistro last night. Everything was generous, the helpings were generous, the manager/server was generous talking to us about what was offered and where it comes from. We were curious about the delicious house white wine and wanted to find it in the city. Alec (?) wrote down where we could find it . People of... More

I am convinced you will nowhere find a better all-round place to enjoy an evening meal. Others on TripAdviser have accurately described the excellence of the food and service. Brother Alexis with his lovely sister Gael (?) serve as waiter and chef. I cannot recall an evening I have enjoyed more in a French restaurant.

Our meal at Le Bistrot made me want to write my first Trip Advisor review. It offers French / Mediterranean food and is the best meal I can remember having in France. The restaurant is on a small square and if you're lucky you can have one of the tables outside - it would be worth booking on that note.... More

We had previously booked this as arriving late into a new city looking for a good place to eat isn't an enjoyable pastime in my book. I was glad we did as not only was it only a short walk from out hotel it was extremely good. This place is only small, family run with what seemed like husband ,... More
