If you come to Toulouse the is a "must" stop. The four of us each had a different entrée, everyone loved their choice. The wine recommended was local, and excellent. But most of all loved the service and atmosphere. The restaurant is a little off the tourist path, but we could walk from the hotel. When you arrive, you might... More

We had such a lovely evening at this restaurant. The service was top quality, friendly and respectfully attentive. The food was great too. Cheapest wine was thoroughly quaffable. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Gaelle and Alexis went the extra mile to ensure we understand the menu and their recommendations. The food was outstanding, do not miss the "des Pied de Cochon", the Duck breast was great as well as the Tuna..., the wine recommended by Alexis was just great. It's the kind of place that you want to return!,

My husband and I visited this restaurant on our last night of a two week holiday in France at the end of August. The food and service were simply superb, so much so that we would return to Toulouse just to visit this restaurant again! The restaurant is run by a delightful brother and sister whose expertise in food is... More

Le Bistro is a little off the beaten track, perhaps 15 minutes walk from Place du Capitole heading towards the Canal du Midi. It is in a charming square with a couple of other restaurants and is run by a young brother/sister combo. Food and service were fine, though the place was overrun with Brits, presumably because of Trip Advisor... More

If you're visiting Toulouse, go here. Get the foie gras and the duck breast and whatever else the owner tells you to. The house wine is delightful. Enjoy!

We turned up without reservation and managed to get a coveted outside table easily enough. The not so seasonal windy summer weather may have had a hand in that. Anyway, we were advised that should it start to rain we could move indoors. The chap serving and taking orders was wonderful and apologised for his almost perfect English! The menu... More

This place is very popular and with good reason. The food is very good and fresh: most of the dishes are specials of the day. The owners are really helpful and very happy to translate and explain the menu. Altogether a good choice and essential to book if you want to eat outside.
