Very Tasty Indeed

Slightly underwhelming interior so we weren't expecting much. The waiting staff were really friendly and we ordered prawn puris to start. These were fresh and delicious. For main course we had a mixture of madras and what we thought was a jalfrezi. The prawn madras was very tasty indeed. The hotter... read more

Average Indian food. But according to me the service makes all the difference. We never felt welcomed. The main course arrived even before we finished the starter. This is not acceptable. We didnt want to send the food back. Rice was not even luke warm! The waiter was busy looking outside without even registering that the customer is calling him... More

Because I had wanted to try ramen while in France, my husband decided to try Indian. Service was great and they were very kind about accommodating for my nut allergy. Unfortunately the food wasn't super great. We had butter chicken, tandoori chicken - the butter chicken sauce was very sweet and missed some of the flavour were used to. Generally... More

Not a good start to be served prawn crackers as "poppadoms" - maybe they had run out of the genuine article and thought no-one would notice. That said, the food that i ordered was well flavoured and pretty good although very mild. Prices were reasonable.

For me it was an excellent experience. The nan was very good. I had a combination of dahl, bagi, fish (fried) and shrimp curry - all was quite good. The staff was very polite and responsive. Cheers!

Nan bread is usually a good thermometer. It was no nice, cold and really dry. May not have been freshed either. I have to say it was a sunday. But no excuse. My veggy thali was basic and served on some aluminium plate like a kid canteen plate. But wifey, a curry expert and kids seemed to be enjoying their... More

Feel like a quick trip to India? Need a real picker-upper as the weather gets colder? The atmosphere here is authentic, and the service is so charming and personal, I just can't stay away. I'm a vegetarian, and their vegetable offerings are a wonderful change from French food. I'm addicted to their Chana Curry (chick peas) with nan. This with... More

Likely, this is the best Indian restaurant in Toulouse. I loved their biriyani. Here they serve biriyani with one vegetable curry but I would like to suggest to request for raita instead of vegetable curry. Usually they agree and it is a nice combo.

We are English living in France and really miss a good curry! We went last night with our 3 kids (9,12 and 14) and had a great meal. Food and service were excellent, the best was the prawn puri - delish! We also liked the surrounding area and had a few beers before the reservation. Recommend, will go again next... More

I picked this restaurant in a street with two other Indian restaurants on the basis that the expensive-looking restaurant would be more expensive and not necessarily better. Also, this restaurant offers 'puri crevette' which is a fabulous starter if they can do it well. Generally, I always try the chicken tikka and a plain naan as this tells me how... More
