Delightful fish dinner.

Located in Place Victor Hugo. Service was good and the atmosphere pleasant. We decided on fish and the Turbot and Merou were very well presented and properly cooked. Wine selection was good and the prices moderate. Would eat here again.

The food was only neat by the service. Every dish we ate was outstanding and when we went back a week later we were remembered and given a treated to some special food and drinks on the house. The staff are friends by the end of the evening. If you speak little to no french, and want to meet locals... More

I started with a violet kir – which set the tone perfectly – OMG!! Whilst we were perusing the menu we were given homemade bread and tapenade. Don’t like olives myself so himself stuffed all of that, whilst smiling! I chose from the Menu Gourmand (a snip at €29. To start was slow-cooked beef ravioli – it was soft and... More

Went here with a few friends the other night. We didn't have a reservation but they managed to find a table for us outside, which, in the warmth of a Toulousain evening, was lovely. The 'Gourmand set menu' was very good value at around 29 euro, and the food was well cooked, well presented and very good - the 'flaming'... More

The restaurant is in two parts, the restaurant side and the "snack" side.Let me be clear, the "snack" side beats a lot of restaurants in Toulouse hands down. The Restaurant side is in my humble opinion one hard to beat, price - quality, wise. A great variety of food, daily menu at more than reasonable prices and very well presented. The... More

You can take from "le menu", or go a la carte, or mix and match. It's all delicious (well, I can only speak for what my wife and I had, obviously - I'm not a COMPLETE hog!). The service was excellent - they put up with my shoddy accent and grammar, they were attentive, and made us feel that they... More

Walked over to La Gourmandine based on the Trip Advisor reviews. We were lucky to be a bit on the early side, because we had no reservation, and the restaurant filled up quickly. My husband and I both had the "gourmand" menu...Beautifully presented, and the taste matched the presentation. I had the duck starter, which consisted of fois gras, tartare... More

Nice food and great location are the two biggest benefits from this restaurant. The food is fresh and they create interesting combinations! The quality is worth the price!

I have eaten at La Gourmandine on a number of occasions and enjoyed cosy dinners on cold winter nights and long, leisurely weekend lunches sitting outside on warm, summer weekends. Each one has been an absolute delight of tasty food and beautiful wine. I make a beeline for this lovely little restaurant each time I visit Toulouse.

The starters and the main courses were very good, especially the lamb leg stuffed with ricotta and spinach. The wine recommendation (off the wine list, were looking for a ready-to-drink Chateauneuf) was exactly what we wanted and very correctly priced. The cheese platter is one of the best we've ever tried - the selection, the quality and the maturity. Deserts... More
