In a highly touristic place like Lourdes, where culinary excellence isn't the focus of neither visitors nor businesses, I was happy to be able to Tripadvisor for guidance. Although I noted mixed reviews for Le Magret I decided to try it out. Definitely I agree with the most positive ones. Our food was excellent, very nicely presented and with impeccable... More

For the last 10 years, we (about 10 0f us) have visited Le Magret and very much looked forward to it. Last Thursday ~ 17th July we took new friends feeling very excited that they would enjoy our well kept secret. Sadly we were very disappointed that NO part of the meal was of their usual standard and feeling quite... More

Absolutely amazing confit duck. Service was very good also. We initially couldn't find it but persevered and it was worth it. Recommended!

When we are in the area we try to visit this restaurant and we are never disappointed. Lovely food and very friendly staff. We did wait well over 30 minutes for our starter but once it arrived everything then went very smoothly. This restaurant is well worth a visit if you are staying in town as they do have a... More

A bit expensive and not as extraordinary as I would have thought. Fascade not very attractive, but it is very correct. A try at least once.

We had a very fulfilling meal at this restaurant we were told not to miss. The dishes were served in dramatic style! I would certainly not miss the day's special. At this time of year, we went without any prior reservations.

It is not the shortest ride to get to Le Magret from the Religious Shrine area and much of the Street may appear abandoned when you arrive, however, the street comes alive at dinner time with Regulars heading for their secret treasured restaurants, and Le Magret is one of those treasured restaurants. You have a choice of upstairs or street... More

A group of friends had taken my daughter and I out for a special dinner. Not knowing what to expect but excited to go to a place that I would count as both a blessing and a culinary experience. Well let me just say that once entering this establishment was one of pure delight for me! As we were seated,... More

Very slow indeed. In at one put three thirty for what promised to be a quick menu..salad, duck and fresh fruit. Missed all afternoons activities as a result. Waited nearly an hour for our starter salad ..not as if had to be cooked except duck warmed up. ..OKish ....and fresh fruit salad with sabayon...turned out to be watermelon and banana.... More

We had eaten in Le Magret about 7 years ago, having been recommended it as the finest restaurant in Lourdes by one of the hoteliers and it certainly did not disappoint. We were keen to see if it recapture the same magical culinary heights after such a long wait to experience it again; it did not disappoint. We had booked... More
