Hungry and very frustrated with French bureaucracy, we needed to fill 2 hours between government AND car dealer 12-2 office closures. We had passed the restaurant a few minutes earlier, and my wife had one of her instinct moments. What a find, the €16 lunch menu was superb. The Albi locals obviously think so too. It was packed, but service was... More

t may be because it was August in France, or maybe Albi is the type of place that needs reservations at their finer restaurants. So, after not getting into another one or two, we were happy that this restaurant was open. I love that they had local aperitifs to try, and the artichoke liqueur was a bit odd but I... More

The 16 euro menu in the evening was excellent value for main course and dessert with outstanding presentation, particularly the sorbets. After our half bottle of wine was poured there was a lot of deposit in the first half glass and this was replaced without question. We chose instead a 50cl bottle at a higher price but we were only... More

Perhaps we made the wrong choices, but we felt that the food could have been better. There was escargot (not the best we have eaten) and seafood terrine for starters, and we both had Confit Duck for the main - the duck was a bit on the fatty side. All in all, it was a good meal but not a... More

We found the place by chance. But once we cross the door we knew it was a good place. Very nice and warm place. Very delicate and French. We choose the menu du jour for 16€ andas we had: -ragout d'agneu -guisse su canard confite -filet du st Pierre And Baba ou rum and creme brulé for dessert. Everything was... More

We enjoyed a fantastic meal in Jardin des Quatre Saisons. Went for a set meal option (think it was about €28 for 3 courses). Everything was good - including the bottle of (cheap) wine. Particular mention goes to the goats cheese salad and rouget (red mullet?).

this is a no risk place - you get very good food and fine wine - we were placed in a side room, which is less nice if you like to pick up the ambiance of the restaurant - tip: so if you make a reservation make sure you are in the main room - you get value for your... More

The restaurant manager was obliging in finding space for our party of 6 - 4 adults, 2 children - when we had not made a reservation, Thursday evening. The food was excellent, delicious; presentation beautiful - I loved how the desserts were served on matching plates, i.e. each different dessert had it's designated plate. We opted for the 'plate de... More

A typically French, perhaps over leisurely evening meal. An extensive and intimidating wine list so large that the weight proved difficult to manage comfortably. The service was french slow but the food proved worth the wait. Pleasant staff and ambiance.
