Warm and cosy lunch inside on a chilly December day with very friendly staff. The food was delicious and reasonably priced and all home cooked. Not sure if they have outside eating in warmer weather so will be back in the spring to check it out.

Romantic dinner for two with everything French you could wish for, we enjoyed the food, atmosphere, fine wine and cheery service at a most reasonable price. Will go again and again.

Very nice small restaurant. Wine one of the best we've had so far in France and food also wonderful. Very attentive service. No problems at all.

Very cozy restaurant (about 10 tables) and very close to the Cathedral St. Cecile. A smiling welcome from the nice couple who owns and run the place. Very nicely decorated offers traditional recipes of cuisine de terroir, which is very much appreciated by local guests too. We had one of the best terrin de canard we had in France ever:... More

At the bottom end of the rue Toulouse-Lautrec, about 170m from the Cathedral, Ambroisie is one of these cosy and friendly eateries built on French flair and know-how. The menu is a mix of local recipes, home-made desserts, quiches and salads, and the wine list complements it from every angle. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual and the music is... More

Great hosts, food and atmosphere! We enjoyed our dinner so much that we returned for lunch the next day. Two very pleasant experiences. If it was in our town back home, we would be dining at it regularly.

My wife and I had a thoroughly enjoyable evening and thought the food was terrific so much so we are determined to return next time we are in the area. We have been fortunate to have eaten in some very fine restaurants in different parts of the world and this ranks as one of the best meals we have ever... More

First of I wanted to say that his restaurant is the reason I actually signed up on tripadvisor cause I really felt the need to leave some positive feedback. We were on a road trip in April and arrived pretty late in Albi. We had called around 8:30 pm and asked if they were going to be open late. The... More

Rainy november day in Albi. I had previously booked the table thanks to TA reviews, so we went there although the best option due to the rain would have been to stay closer to our hotel. But we were not disappointed. It's a family run restaurant, for 20 people +/-, all we had for dinner was excellent, from the apéritif... More

After a very warm welcome on very cold evening, we were settled in to a wonderfully, qwerky but relaxing ambience. The menu was simple, the wine list short and the jazz classic, but the combination worked magically. We left with a real smile on our faces, having enjoyed the tarts - the speciality.
