This restaurant was recommended to us by the owner of the gite where we were staying as being one of her favourite restaurants in Albi and we were not disappointed. We had not made a reservation when we went there for lunch but the staff made us very welcome. It was a hot day and walking to the restaurant we... More

The service, ambience, wine list were good but the food was terrible. My husband sent his dish of segala veal with some kind of mushy filling back to be reheated as it was lukewarm. The unappetising vegetable on one side of the plate tasted bitter and looked like apple. The waitress said it was potato (although there was a touch... More

We have a puppy and the places outside were taken. We asked to sit inside and they let we stay and even offered our dog some water. The decoration is very special and cosy. The menu is huge and you really don't know what to choose, everything seems delicious! Staff spoke English and we had a very pleasant meal, in... More

It was a hot day and all the tables outside were taken. I must admit that the entrance doors to the actual restaurant looked slightly forbidding - you could not look inside properly but since we knew we were in for a treat, we just went in and were pleasantly surprised by the interior decor. The menu of the day... More

Finally a traditional French restaurant, not for tourists alone. Its across the road from The master Toulouse- Lautrec's birthplace. Full of charm with bright paintings decorating its brick walls. After a full day in Albi, a roasted rack of lamb marinated in an infusion of Provencal thyme,is just the ticket. But its the cassoulet of codfish, duckling en confit and savory... More

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel, Hostellerie de Vigan, We found several restaurants near this as well, as we made our way there. The excellent decor, good food and attentive staff ( English spoken) made this a great choice. It was doing a very good trade on a Tuesday night and seemed to be a mixture of tourists (of mixed... We had a delicious and interesting dinner in this lovely restaurant. First, there is a very warm greeting from the owner who speaks very good English. The menus looked appealing but a bit quirky (both starter choices on the Spring menu had foie gras – which neither of us care for.) I had the Tarn menu and my wife decided... More

Our first ever tripadvisor review, based solely on the great experience we had yesterday. We sat outside in the mini-courtyard, and between the two of us had two excellent set of meals, including a fantastic salt-cod cassoulet and pork/prune stuffing that was unlike anything we'd ever tasted. Everything was locally grown. The staff was just about the nicest, most helpful... More

We found the staff helpful and attentive. There are a number of menu options so lots of choice. The food was locally influenced and priced about right. Booking is recommended as they were full on Saturday and at Sunday lunch - a mix of locals and French tourists.

Le Lautrec is generally well reviewed and looks very good. Wre stopped by at lunch to make a booking for dinner and the restaurant was packed. In the evening we were glad to have a table as the restaurant was soon full--but the clientele were a large tour group from Lyon. Our food was good but not great. Service was... More
