Nice restaurant along the Moselle river with a stunning view of the St- Etienne Cathedral in Metz. Lunch was easy to order as the menu is rather limited but adequate. For starters we had a salad with foie gras, parmesan, walnuts and a fine dressing. Our main dish consisted of filet of steak which was was extremely tender and served... More

This place knows how to take care of its guests. Fabulous terrace on the river. Friendly staff, great food, at reasonable prices. Recommended both for stopover visitors and for those visiting the Lorraine region. Will come back.

We stumbled upon this little restaurant after crossing a bridge with a stunning view over Temple Neuf. Originally we just wanted to have drinks, which was not possible since they were open for dinner at this point (this is very much so in all places we visited around Straßbourg etc). So we decided to have dinner as well - we... More

My own fault for not checking opening times but arrived at 2.10 and after what seemed a happy bonjour, asked (in best french) for a table. I think at this point she realised we were english and took herself off without a word! Stood around for quite a few minutes and we were contemplating on leaving as she did not... More

We went here one weekend and found it by wandering around Metz. We wanted a location overlooking the river and boy did we find it! We were met at the door by a gentleman wearing an American flag sweater who promptly figured out our French was limited. He seated us at a nice table with a great view of the... More

Went on for a "late" dinner there (after 9 pm on a Sunday night in Metz can be sonsidered late), and I soon came to the conclusion it was a good idea. The spot by the river Moselle is very nice, the menu is limited: mainly beef (hence the name) and some fish as well, but with such a name,... More

Found the address of this restaurant on tripadvisor. Decided to go there with friends while visiting Metz for 1 night. It was a very nice town but also a very nice place te eat. Meat was very good, nice restaurant, quite modern looks, easy, near the water.

We stopped one night in Metz and walked in off the street having remembered the restaurant name from a quick review of TA . Very limited menu but the steak was very tender and the staff friendly . Good choice if you don't want a full French formal meal but are looking for something better than a Plat Rapid
