We turned up on a Saturday night without reservations and luckily got a table for the two of us, we arrived before 20:00. We chose this restaurant based on tripadvisor reviews, "for" and "against". The food is freshly prepared with great attention to detail, portions are adequate, some might say small, which for a restaurant with gourmet pretensions is fine... More

My girlfriend and I arrived without making reservations at 19h on a Friday night and we had no problem getting a table. We had 2 menus and a glass of wine each. I had veal with gnocchi in a honey-based sauce and she had the duck burger and both meals were excellent, especially hers. Mind you, the duck burger is... More

As fresh tourists in the city we were looking for a good place to have a first evening diner. After shortly checking out our options, we went straight for Esprit Gourmand. We went for the 22.5 euro main dish + desert and took the Gambas and codfish (cabillaud) for the main and pancakes and lemon tarte tatin for desert. No... More

We chose this restaurant for a evening meal with a friend of our family. Although the menu and the restaurant itself seem casual and a little out-of-date, the surprise came along with our first course and continued throughout the whole meal: what you get here is beautifully prepared, served in fancy plates, fresh and delicious food with the worldwide known... We had a great dinner at the Esprit Gourmand. From foie gras to tartare, cheeses or crumble: all dishes were made and tasty. Service was quick and courteous. The wine suggestions were good as well. All in all, we had a splendid evening.

We had seen that service would be slow. Reserved at 20h and had the 3 course meal in 2h30. The food was great, full of flavor and that for only 28€ for all 3 courses. My suggestion would be, go in at around 6 and you'll have superb food in a great speed :-)

We didn't have a reservation and arrived early on a Friday evening in December. They had a few tables free and we started with two glasses of champagne. They were corked and immediately replaced. Otherwise the evening went as a dream with great - seasonal - food, including foie gras and wonderful cheeses and wines. The signature dish is a... More

We had our lunch here last Saturday. We love the foie gras, their specialty duck burger and the molten chocolate cake. Excellent service. They are very helpful with the menu translation. The wine is excellent. Great food and service with reasonable price. Well located. We spent around 70 euros++ for 1 lunch set + 1 main course + 4 glasses... More

We ate here on a Friday night in October. The food was delicious and imaginative. Decor and atmosphere are very pleasant. Prices are reasonable. Service was good although at times a bit slow because the young lady seems to be the only person waiting on tables. Apparently she and her husband do everything alone. A delightful gourmand meal!
