We had a fast dinner and took a salad. But the salad was not fresh, it was half foul. The servant took his time and came only after 10 or 15 minutes. We told him about the salad and he took it and didn't say anything. On the check one salad was off- but I still didn't have had dinner!... More

My daughter and I were looking for another restaurant in the area, which we never found. We selected this one after reading some choices on the menu that looked healthy and had green vegetables. The steamed meals are served in a bamboo steamer and include a meat (cod, salmon, prawns or chicken), green beans, broccoli, peas, carrots, cherry tomatoes and... More

We chose this resto as it was close to our hotel and looked nice and clean from the outside... Inside, the ambiance was indeed very nice. So we ordered a tomato mozarella salad, good but nothing spectacular, and for main dish 2 beef filets...one rare one well done.. Both HORRIBLE, BUT HORRIBLE grilled. Worst ever... We regretted we did not... More

I lived near this place and ate there several times. It is a really nice place with a "Provence" feeling. The staff is nice and supportive and do not mind if you take a little longer with your order - or if you order in English. I ate the carpaccio and a salad. The salad was nothing special but it was... More

This is a nice restaurant with a varied menu that should have something for everyone. My husband had a pizza and I had a chevre salad and beef carpaccio. The salad was awesome. Goat cheese slices drizzled with honey on top of bread and then toasted on a bed of mixed greens and tomatoes. They do have English menus, so... More

I asked at the Tourist Office if there were any vegetarian restaurants in Metz and was told no but this restaurant had lots of veggie options on their menu. Food is OK for the price and I really enjoyed my large portion of fig tart.

Considering it takes at least an hour's drive for us to get to Metz, it takes quite a restaurant to entice us to step in not once, but twice in eight days. It wasn't until I checked TripAdvisor AFTER the meal that I realised it's part of a chain; one would never guess that while dining in the place. The... More

My wife and I randomly found this place near Notre Dame. It looked lovely with its outdoor tables and plenty of locals, so we tried it. The portions are huge. Like the rest of Dijon, it is not cheap but this offered good value. They do a range of huge crepes, as well as other things. I was surprised by... More

I realize it's a chain restaurant, but I was totally disappointed in Les Moulins Bleus in Metz, especially since it has such an excellent location. Perhaps that's breeding complacency. The low-lights: Surly service, bland food, dirty dishes and service ware (which were replaced by equally dirty items when we complained), and mystery items appearing on our bill (which they were...
