Tres bon!

We were only in Metz for one night and wandered around to find somewhere to have dinner. We picked this restaurant as it was busy and the menu was reasonable and offered French cuisine. We were warmly welcomed by a gentleman who I am presuming was the owner and a true Maître D' which I haven't seen... read more

Good traditional, French food served with a smile. Not pretending to be anything it isn't, this place serves good consistent food. The kitchen is pretty all round, and the staff is friendly. Prices are fair and good quality for money which is hard to find in this part of Metz.

Had a delightful meal last night. Staff remarkably pleasant; owner greets you personally. My wife had a fillet of beef that was the best in this month in France. Prices are reasonable as is the wine list.

Fantastic food at a reasonable price. A warm welcome and friendly greeting from the owner/manager. The steak is highly recommended!

My partner took me here as a welcome home meal after I'd spent two weeks away, and it was nice to return to authentic French cooking. We had the 24 euros menu - he chose the rouget and I took the salad for starters; both were not bad but nothing to shout about. However, the main course was outstanding -... More

This was our main choice during our short stay in Metz. The owner greeted us all with a handshake and I felt very well taken care of. The specials were written on a mirrored wall and some were ordered by our group. They were quite good. It was classic French fare, meaning Americans may not recognize or find certain items... More

First of all, the owner greet everyone with a handshake and a smile! It was packed by 7:30 and we loved the ambiance. The food was delicious and the prices reasonable. We are coming back to Metz in October for only one night and this is the restaurant we are choosing for our one meal. It was fantastic!

We went for the set menu at €20 per person . We still had a reasonable choice with a good selection in all three courses . The Pork I had for main course was so soft and tasty , my husbands steak was tender and tasty. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed and the staff friendly . The food was... More

We went for dinner with friends(11) the restaurant was full and the service was perfect! The pwner took the orders and made some nice suggestions! I did not see any table to wait or complain! Moreover the owner make sure to ask if all was ok and shake your hand before you leave the restaurant. Typical french atmosphere!
