One of the best paces in town to taste a wide variety of cheese! However, I'd suggest this place only in winter:)

We were at the location at 17 rue Stanislas, near the beautiful square. Lots of cheese served at this place! Unfortunately, our waitress didn't speak English and they didn't have an English menu, which is surprising considering how close to the main square it is. So, it was a bit difficult to manage the vast menu. But, what we did... More

I used to live in Nancy and my friends and I would often visit this place! The fondue is incredible and there are many other options if you don't want to overload on cheese too much (Trust me, between me any my friends I'm sure we tried everything on the menu!) The decor was...eclectic but always a great topic of... More

I lived in Nancy for 8 months, and this is one place we went multiple times. It's a tad more expensive than others, but still reasonable. The food is impeccable! Cheese, cheese, cheese! The fondue is wonderful, but everything we got was delicious. I often went with a large group of other teachers I worked with, and so we got... More

We ate here with our three kids...they put us in the back of the room despite it being empty (at 7 pm). The food was good, we had salad nicoise, an omlette for our kids and a dish with a puff pastry pizza like dish. all of the food was great, not sensational. For dessert we had chocolate fondue. The... styled like a bric a brac , it´s not a star restaurant, but down to earth hearty food of excellent quality, copious portions, go for the set meals, they include everything, even the digestif, if you want. great value for the money, book in advance, it gets very crowded and lively, ideally situated in the heart of the city near Place... My friends and I found this restaurant quite by accident. Excellent French food in beautiful historic surroundings. French specialties abound: fondue with fresh local mountain cheese, delicious pieces of meat and great selection of wine

Lets not beat around the bush. There are lots of restaurants in the rue gourmand in Nancy. But don't miss out on this one. Brilliant food, proper French recipes and a very extraordinary decor. Good service. Just a brilliant authentic French night out.
