We (two ladies) were driving from Amboise to Carcassone and Limoges was just in time for lunch. This place looked nice so we went in. We both had the plat du jour. My friend had baked salmon, mashed potatoes, salad, molten lava cake, and water. I had grilled steak, real fries, salad, mango panacotta, and wine. We paid $35 and... More

We all know that the French love their large lunches and particularly so on a Sunday. So, it was a pleasure to find a restaurant that had a lighter bite lunch option for those of us who prefer evening dining. That choice was the Limousin Burger special and we quickly ordered a round of four of those, two glasses of... More

Good service, lovely staff, very average food, excellent wine choices by the glass but the restaurant stinks of drains. When I asked about the smell I was told "yes, we have a problem". Well - fix it! I will not return.

The limousin beef is a famous race of cattle. We just wanted to have steak in its origine. Just a steak and chips. They have big rib eye cut 1.2 kg, entrecôte, rump steak , butchers cut, hamburger and other non beef. The cooking degree was not consistent, the hamburger was completely dry and the rib was completely rare. The... More

It was a great restaurant! We haven't booked the restaurant, but they welcome us. The food was very tasty. They offer French food, so it's ideal to taste some good French dishes. The price was not so high, because they have some "Formules" where everything is included (drinks, desserts, coffee...). And waiters were very nice and patient and they explained... More

My husband has been to this restaurant the year before when he went to Limoges for his annual meeting so he brought me there as he loved the food here. I agree with him, the food is good especially the steaks and terrine. The staffs are friendly and speak English and the best is they are open on Sundays too!... More

We went for a quick lunch on a Sunday and spent two hours. Excellent traditional French food but with friendly staff! A choice of set menus that will take at least half an hour just to choose. The food is fresh and perfectly cooked. The option with wine is worth considering if you have the time to relax between courses... More

We had not booked but we were welcome. The airport restaurant was closed. The menu featured huge steaks. We had a basic meal. we enjoyed good service, the food tasty and bill reasonable.
