Good food A l'étage - We had the melon and ham, baked st Marcelin, filet mignon de porc, the pintade. It was really good. The waiter advised on a good fruity/dark rosé which was perfect. We had a good evening there.

Easily missed, 'round the corner' in the Place aux Herbes, I advise you to read the French menu board, not the English as the translation is literal and loses you! 'Cow cheese rote with herbs' is a delicious St Marcellin baked with fresh herbs. We had a delicious meal in the cool arches. We'll definitely return

I agree entirely with Cleo's review. The food was delicious and the service exemplary-though the one waitress was working very hard. Our only disappointment was that it was closing for the winter the day after our visit!

A L'Etage is located in a quieter corner of the delightful Place Herbes in central Uzes. This is not a fancy place but it really blew our socks off, so that we went back two nights in a row. The setting is lovely of course - bag a seat at the front and you can watch children play, cats and... More
