I had a calzone and my husband had a salami and mozzarella salad. They were both excellent and served with flair. We enjoyed eating on the shaded terrace with misters to keep us cool. The staff spoke minimal English and we spoke no French, but we were able to get by even with the menu only in French. If you're... More

And we could see why. We ate pasta which was tasty and the pizzas looked good too. Large portions, fairly priced. The setting is very pleasant. It was almost full on a Thursday night in June, so it must be heaving in July and August. Couldn't fault what was on offer.

Somewhere between good and very good this pizza joint was no better or worse than a few I have been in over the years (on more than one continent). The main reason we went was that the weather was so bad we only had to walk a few paces from our accommodation to eat here. How bad could it be?... More

Away from the hustle and bustle of the main square, but with a lovely atmosphere and outdoor seating looking over the church and old buildings, this is a great option if you fancy a change from classic French Cuisine. As other reviewers say, you can not book in the Summer months, so make sure you turn up at 7, or... More

Tucked away from the busy main square in a little corner amongst beautiful ancient medieval buildings. Arrived at 7ish just as people were arriving, we were lucky at got a table straight away but within minutes it was full. Great food.. Lovely atmosphere, great service & good price too...

A very sleek operation. You have to arrive early to get a table immediately, but the queue is managed very well, and no one had to wait too long for a table. The service was courteous and efficient, the pizzas large, and delicious. The pasta dishes looked good too, so we have an excuse to go back - we have... More

The fact that we eat here at least once a month, given the choice in the Uzés, Nimes, Avignon golden triangle, says it all. Skim my other reviews and you will see what I mean. Let's get it straight what Le Zanelli is good at: It offers superb pizzas, it offers reasonable pasta dishes and for Mrs Fillet Steak, it... More

We eat here when we feel like a change from French food as they do very good pasta and pizza. My one complaint is that they use terrible olives that are canned and stoned and not nice. There are beautiful olives available in Uzes so how about using them. Good value restaurant.

This restaurant is hidden away in Uzes behind the Place Des Herbes but is well worth finding. During July and August you cannot make a reservation so queue up by 7pm at the latest to get a choice of table when the restaurant opens at 7.15pm. As a result everyone orders at once and it may take a while to... More
