French/Iberian with a Japanese twist

Typical bistro style with 5 starters, 3 fish dushes, one meat dish and some desserts to choose from. We went with the Serrano mussels, calamar and the duck bruschetta. Almost all the dishes contain Serrano in any form and a Japanese component. The ingredients were of high quality and the cooking... read more

There is only one option so not a place to go for picky eaters. But if you're open to trying new things and don't have a lot of dietary restrictions then you should definitely give it a try. The lunch menu is 20 euro and an excellent value. At a similar fine dining restaurant here in the states you'd pay... More

We had an evening meal at No 17 and it thoroughly deserves it's high ranking on Tripadvisor. Despite being busy (about a 70/30 split between locals and tourists) the waitress and chef provided an excellent and friendly service and delicious food. No 17 specialises in fish and other seafood. The octapus and mango sauce starter was exceptional as was the... More

There are approximately 6 tables outside, half of which are 4 tops. The staff does not speak English but they have a small English menu. Fish is the specialty. We were a party of 3 and every dish we had was very good. Bring a camera. Le 17 is loaded with local charm.

We've had plenty of disappointments in Perpignan restaurants - but this is not one of them! The lunch time set menu offers you the choice of 1, 2 or 3 courses (though only one choice for each) and is reliably good, with a bias towards fish (which suits us fine!). The food is beautifully presented with some interesting fusions of... More

We were brought to Le 17 by a taxi driver who said we would enjoy...he called ahead, advised we were from ireland and our french was poor! We were met at the door and treated with special attention by our lovely waitress...between us ( her limited english and our poor french) we had a lot of fun ordering...what arrived was... More

We went for lunch and chose the set menu. We sat outside in the sunshine in a pretty setting. The food was excellent, beautifully displayed. Staff were very attentive but not too much. The restaurant was busy but efficiently run. We will definitely return and would recommend it. Such good value.

We stopped here for lunch on the strength of reviews from Trip Advisor and are very glad we did! The setting in a beautifully renovated old building in a tiny street in the old center of town was what first attracted us. The menu du jour was posted on a board outside: velouté de gambas, filet de lieu noir, and... More

The quality of the food and friendliness of the service was really outstanding. One of our favourites in Perpignan.

This was one of the best meals we had in Perpignan. The service and the quality of the food was worthy of a Michelin star restaurant while the price was very reasonable. Well worth a visit.
