We have eaten dinner here before and been very pleased with the cooking and service. Lunch however, although good value, was far too creamy. Starter of a creamy smoked fish mousse, not enough flavour; main was hake in a veloute of sweet potato, rather drowned, masked the taste of the fish; dessert - white chocolate mousse - again hardly any... The menu at 17 is excellent. Mainly fish cooked to perfection. Excellent tastes. The quality of food is mouth watering. Puddings are delicious. Service is helpful and friendly. 17 is in a lovely position in the city a bit off the beaten track.

We have just had one of the best meals we have ever had. Everything about the food was simply outstanding - best monkfish we have ever tasted, best squid we have ever had, etc etc. And we would agree with the reviewer who said it has the best waitresses ever - they were absolutely charming. And we loved the setting,... More

We went with friends for "jeudi soir" summer street entertainment in Perpignan. But raining (unusually), so we stayed most of the evening in the restaurant. Glad we did though. We had previously read the mainly glowing reviews. and the food surpassed our high expectations. The service was friendly and helpful, without being obtrusive. The menu was explained in detail, so... We had seen the reviews on trip advisor and decided to check it out. We sat in the sunshine and had two plates - a cold mousse of fresh summer vegetables garnished with slithers of veg and tiny bread crisps, followed by tuna steak (so fresh) with roasted aubergine- delicious and all for €15. A real treat. Try it -... More

One of the best meals we have had in this area. Really good ingredients which were well cooked and beautifully presented. Helpful staff added to our enjoyment.

Today was our second visit, the first time was excellent...unfortunately, I don't remember what I had but the 2 ladies who work as servers were so accommodating, so well versed in the menu that they described each plate beautifully! Today we ate indoors and the interior is very simple and charming. You can look through a clear panel on the... More

Typical bistro style with 5 starters, 3 fish dushes, one meat dish and some desserts to choose from. We went with the Serrano mussels, calamar and the duck bruschetta. Almost all the dishes contain Serrano in any form and a Japanese component. The ingredients were of high quality and the cooking creative. Atmosphere was nice, more casual than I had... More
