OK, but nothing special

Ate here after our disastrous visit to Le France. We had two plates of pasta. Enormous portions, but nothing stood out, insufficient sauce for the amount of pasta, wine list was average. Waitresses were attentive. Much better restaurants in Perpignan, our favourite was Le Barathium, or Le Caz en... read more

Just looked for somewhere open and busy Sunday evening. 5 of us had real mix from across the menu: salad, house special faux filet Aragon, meules frites, pizza, and a pasta dish. Service was quick attentive and friendly. Food came quickly and every dish was large, freshly cooked and well presented, it all exceeded expectations. Had deserts too which were... More

We were attracted by the fact that there were a lot of people in the place, and possibly they were enjoying their meals. But as we were only looking for something light, we ordered a lasagne and a mushroom omelette. The lasagne was certainly the worst ever, a slab of pasta with hardly any other content, couldn't bring ourselves to... More

We had a dinner here with friends. This is not a culinary heaven, but the food was good and tasty. The waiters were friendly, the design is average.

Had dessert here after wandering the city post dinner. The waiter was extremely friendly and chatted at length with my girlfriend and I. He even have us suggestions for things to see in other cities on our vacation. We had the iced nougat and the crêpe Grand Mariner. Nothing amazing, although I had never had iced nougat before, but it... More

We came across this after trying several places which weren't serving at the time we wanted to eat. Really good location -very central, close to shops and you can watch people coming and going. There is always something to see. It was a windy evening-something you do need to keep an eye on in this area. It can make eating... More

We stumbled across this place by chance for lunch and was very pleasantly surprised. The two of us had the chef's special cannelloni, which was fresh and succulent - clearly made earlier today. For dessert we had....well you can see the picture. It was as good as it looks. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Placed in a very good position to have lunch and watch the world go by. We both had calamari with a salad from the plait du jour choices. The calamari was well cooked and the salad actually included red capsicum, sweet corn and 3 slices of tomato,as well as lettuce. A pleasant change from the usual lettuce only salads that are... More

Arago is well positioned in Perpignan and we have been several times in the evenings and at lunch time. We have sat inside the restaurant and outside in the summer. There is a good choice on the menu and the staff try to please and work hard. Somehow though there is no 'wow' factor and the food quality can vary.... More
