We stumbled across this place by chance for lunch and was very pleasantly surprised. The two of us had the chef's special cannelloni, which was fresh and succulent - clearly made earlier today. For dessert we had....well you can see the picture. It was as good as it looks. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Placed in a very good position to have lunch and watch the world go by. We both had calamari with a salad from the plait du jour choices. The calamari was well cooked and the salad actually included red capsicum, sweet corn and 3 slices of tomato,as well as lettuce. A pleasant change from the usual lettuce only salads that are... More

Arago is well positioned in Perpignan and we have been several times in the evenings and at lunch time. We have sat inside the restaurant and outside in the summer. There is a good choice on the menu and the staff try to please and work hard. Somehow though there is no 'wow' factor and the food quality can vary.... More

Oh dear. We used to say that the Arago was one of Perpignan's most reliable restaurants - sometimes we had minor issues with service, but never had a poor meal there. Tonight that changed. Despite it being a very quiet evening (Mondays in Perpignan in December tend to be), the staff managed, first of all, to fail to bring our... More

This is really a outsandinng quality/price international cooking restaurant . We were very happy for such a high quality generous dishes. The steak tartar, the tagliatelle, with fried potatoes and salad. Superb deserts . Served nicely and kindly. We will come back for sure!

This restaurant is located in a lovely part of Perpignan, right across the street from the canal, la bassa. It's a beautiful green space, makes for a nice stroll (also a good place to find metered parking, buy the max time, as there is a surprise behind the restaurant). After several expensive, marginal meals in Canet and St. Cyprien, this... More

We ate at l'Arago when we visited for les Jeudis de Perpignan...street music and theatre on Thursday nights during July and August. Yes, it is a large menu, but our food was fresh and arrived quickly (we had just waited 45 minutes at another restaurant, wihout even a basket of bread to keep us going), we stuck to salads and steaks,... It's on Place Arago, it has acres of tables outside (in the summer) as well as large spaces inside (ground floor and upstairs) and it's a good, reliable open-all-hours restaurant. The menu is wide-ranging, but don't let that put you off. Bouquet de Crevettes is a fab starter - very fresh seafood. The pizzas are good value. The steaks are pretty... More

The card is rather large which should have warned us about the lack of quality. Had pancake which were not served hot and tasted strange. The Spaghetti with scallops and the shrimps were not fresh.

Great location - in the same square as Cafe Vienne. The groud floor restaurant has more ambience than the upstairs one. In the summer you can eat outdoors in the square for lunch or dinner. Thursday evenings in the summer are very busy so arrive early. The pizzas are very good but there is also a good choice of fish... More
