Had probably one of the best steaks I have ever had in a restaurant here. Wines also excellent, as were desserts. Service was outstanding in quality and friendliness. I think the prices were a bit high though, especially the desserts. For three of us (3 mains + 3 desserts + one bottle of wine) we paid 143 EUR.

We had a three-course 30-euro lunch with friends here in late May, enjoying the sunshine at our table outside. The food was delicious -- particularly the local oysters, among the best I've ever eaten -- and beautifully presented. I felt that the main course of local lamb and vegetables was on the small side, given the price; a few more... More

I do like this restaurant -- excellent modern cuisine using fresh local ingredients, in an attractive setting -- but I do feel it's a bit overpriced. I've eaten there twice recently, and prices have crept up since I was last there a couple of years ago. If you choose the 21-euro menu you'll find portions really small: a salad starter... More

yet another lunch at our favourite restaurant both in Narbonne and in our area generally. Ate out in the sun, excellent food and wine, attentive but not obtrusive service, never fails to deliver

Our favourite Narbonne eatery. Beautifully presented food, very tasty and well served. Eat in or outside. Worth a visit

Preliminaries first. To be sure, you must book a table. Secondly, when you phone, they'll ask "Up or Down". Never having been, I assumed this meant in the basement (which can often be dull) or on the ground floor - full of people etc. So I chose "up". The restaurant is on one floor only (ground level) and "up" means... More

We wandered around Narbonne, clutching several Tripadvisor references, seeking somewhere nice for lunch. We weren't disappointed by our choice. The restaurant is in an unpretentious small square by a church on the south west edge of Les Halles. Inside it's a delight although we chose a table on their small pavement terrace in front as it was a nice sunny... More

We visited laTable des Cuisiners Cavistes this evening on our first night in Narbonne. It was outstanding in many ways. It was away from the Maddening crowd that seemed to haunt every other place in town. The menu was different to standard fare that is offered at so many in town. The location, next to a historic church is quiet... More

We visited this restaurant while staying in Villedaigne France and some friends thought we would like it. It was amazing for all the right reasons and we enjoyed everything about it. The food was fantastic and we even discovered we had met the manager before at a previous restaurant and were pleased to be acquainted with him again. He was... More
