recently visited Narbonne for the first time and parked at the free car park near the theatre just south of the historic centre. We took the free little bus that runs round the town and as we went along by the run of restaurants near the canal we spotted this one which was absolutely packed at 12.30 while their neighbours... Service was fast and friendly, food was tasty. A very cozy, almost traffic-free location at the promenade. Tip: the plat du jour offers good value for the money.

Narbonne is not over-provided with stylish eateries with affordable food. This one, on the left bank of the canal, in sight of the Cathedral, is a gem. Friendly service, and a really varied prix-fixe lunch menu, two courses around 11 Euros, three courses 13. The room is spacious and modern, and one sign if its reputation is that by soon... More

Tomato and mozzarella starters followed by salmon with a cheese mash. Great service, great food which was well presented and tasted even better than it looked. Even the final bill was a pleasant surprise. Will revisit

Pleasant decor, staff friendly. I had rillettes of duck which had cartilage in. My main course was layers of smoked salmon which in itself was ok but carpaccio this was not. My overall experience was not enjoyable and wouldn't recommend.

Evening meal, no set menu so a la carte, basic food cooked simply and quite tasty, in a large buzzy restaurant with attentive service. Perhaps a little pricey for the food, the wines certainly pricey for the area.

Have used twice since this restaurant opened. Staff friendly and helpful. Salads are enormous and very good. Had steak which I like really blue and that's just the way it came. Waiter returned to our table to make sure my steak was how I wanted it. Great busy atmosphere. Decor traditional. Wine reasonably priced and the menu looked excellent value... More
