Good Evening

As a start, this basic-looking restaurant is far from that. We were served quickly, choosing from the €29.00 menu. I did not want the tuna nor chicken as I had had it for lunch. No problem they swapped for a Magret. We decided to trust the waiter to select the wines and he did a really good... read more

As my wife had damaged her ankle on our boat trip down the Canal du Midi, it was not possible to easily reach the restaurant we had originally chosen for our last night on the boat in Narbonne. However through a Tripadvisor search I discovered this restaurant which was just around the corner and only a gentle 5 minute walk... More

Very good restaurant. The food was wonderful, unpretentious. It was lunch time and very busy. We took the only table left as we arrived around 2pm.

This place left so good impression during the first visit that we decided to book a table for the next evening during the desert. The food was great. Good portions, tasty french food, nice looking servings but not too fancy. We had a special diet requirements and got excellent service even though we don't speak any French (English was good... The food was nice - modern style, priority to presentation, reasonable to small servings - but the wine selection was out of this world - not only if you prefer whole botles, but also the "per glass" wines were a true pleasure - and on your way out of the restaurant you may buy the wines you have been drinking... I went many times to le Petit Comptoir in Narbonne and the last time was very agreable. We were 3 and decided to go at a table situated in the middel of wine's cellar .There are 4 or 5 tables and you can eat something like tapas but of top quality . Of course you can also try all wines... More

We went for lunch to this "bistro - restaurant " - better to make reservation because a lot of people like to be there, just as we did. Cosy atmosphere, friendly waiters. What you get in your plate is based on fresh local products, prepared in a light way. Definitely a place to go to each time you are in... More

We were travelling the Canal du Midi and this place was recommended to us because it’s close to the canal. There were four in our party and we had reservations for 7:00. When we arrived only three other tables were occupied, out of a total of about ten, so we expected prompt service. That didn’t happen. A local couple arrived... More

Location within walking distance from Hotel, La Residence. Service was a bit slow, meal was very well-prepared, wine that was recommended was really just fair. So for the price, a bit of a disappointment.

The quality and presentation of the food here is really quite something - and the desserts to die for! A touch on the expensive side but well worth the money.
