Art et Vivre de la sud - charming location within the premise of the Leading Languedoc Winemaker Gerard Bertrand.

Been visiting ancient Ch. Hospitalet various times, latest at Jazz a la Hospitalet last week. Food is very local and ingrediens mainly from their own garden. Restaurant is an excellent opportunity to taste the wines of the Languedoc's super-man Gerard Bertrand - chosen to European Winery of the... read more

Beautiful dining room, intriguing amuse bouche. Unfortunate that this was the nicest part of a meal that lurched from bad to appalling. Glad we did not opt for the wine buffet. Those who did got a smear of wine from bottles on optics. How long had they been open? But our guided matching was as bad. We rarely managed to... More

Picked here for a start of our holiday to the South of France and I have only positive points to make. Excellent location with a 'country' feel. Working vineyard with excellent accomodation, excellent wines and excellent food. Took the 'Wine Tour' on arrival which was the perfect pre dinner 'Aperitif'. The 'Jazz Dinner' was an absolute delight! To have French... More

We stayed at the hotel for four nights. We really enjoyed the pairing of food with excellent wines recommended by the somellier in the restaurant. The setting in the courtyard on balmy August evenings was superb. Sometimes the service was a little slow, but we didn't care because we enjoyed the whole experience. Transported many of the wines home from... More

The restaurant is set in a very beautiful court yard but that is literally the only good point. We experienced very poor service from disinterested staff, but unfortunately the food was even worse. Our entire group was very disappointed. This place should be so much more.

Unfortunately I can not write a review because we did not eat at this restaurant. why? Because when we arrived there was a table of 10 waiting to be served and during the 10 minutes we waited at the restaurant reception we saw not one single member of staff so we decided to leave and eat elsewhere. We were so... More

We stayed at this hotel for one night and found on arrival that Friday night is jazz night. We could have put up with the jazz but on Friday there is only a set menu available, with no choice at all. This is very expensive, despite coming with wine ( 3 very small glasses, or 2 and a half in... More

Food is tasty. Unfortually major part of the menu is not available. . Multiple main dishes on the menu not available which unfortually is only told at the moment we started ordering. No milk to make cappuccino, no icecream although its on the menu. Waiters are friendly but hardy know what they are doing. Time between dishes is extremely long.... More

Delicious food accompanied by great wines from Chateau l'Hospitalet. Excellent service (Master Sommelier and waitress with long blond hair - very professional!) Really nice jazz music in the background...You can just relax and enjoy glass of wonderful wine...Nice decor as well..Must be great in the summer when you can sit outside.
