Having previously worked within the Service Industry I am notoriously difficult to please when eating out! However, on our way back to our base in Vias from the Ariege where we just happened to meet Francois Hollande in Mirepoix, we stopped off at Narbonne. We noticed the CO Brasserie whilst walking along the canal and decided to call in for... More

Went to this restaurant next to the canal in Narbonne on a Saturday night. We did not have a reservation (having arrived just that afternoon) but they found us a table; or should I say pointed us to a table. All tables are square so if you are a three like us someone feels left out on the side. The... More

I eat here most weeks as a diversion to French classes and meet up with a bunch of friends. We always stick to the Plat du Jour, which is often fish (swordfish, salmon etc) or something a bit special. Beautifully presented, and totally delicious. We choose the 9,50 Euro which also includes coffee and a little pot of devine chocolate... More

My family and I ate here on our holidays in July! It is situated directly across from les halles ( the large indoor market ). The food was fantastic, I had a ravioli dish that was to die for and my partner had a steak dish that was also gorgeous! Our daughter had a chicken dish from the children's menu.... More

Looked lovely from the outside, with an interesting menu, however the food was very disappointing. Kids' menu offered the usual bland selection, but the 'nuggets' were spectacularly poor. The chicken wings a better choice. The items we chose from the carte looked lovely when they arrived, but tasted bland and salty. The service was also very poor. The waitress was... More

I live in Narbonne and we went to Brasserie Co after an interval of 2 years because it was open on Ash Wednesday when the restaurant of our choice was closed, it being a French custom to close shops and restaurants on what could be their busiest days. Frankly the food was so poor it would have been better to... More

Near the centre of Narbonne, Les Halles and the Canal de Robine, this Brasserie does a brisk lunchtime trade. The dish of the day and a coffee for 11 euro is ample and reasonable value for money. Its located at a busy intersection, which means that there is plenty of the world going by to entertain you.

I am living in Narbonne and must say - good restaurants are few. With a friend we decided to try Brasserie Co again, it had been a long time since I had eaten there. First off-I was appalled by the service. The man serving was not only arrogant raising an eyebrow when we ordered red wine, then telling us we'd... More

Probably one of the only restaurants open in the centre of Narbonne on a Sunday lunchtime in August! The menu is interesting and the food tasty. However, the dishes do not always reach your table hot. Maybe the menu is too ambitious. But the service is top: the waitresses were all absolutely charming, friendly, and helpful.

Brasserie Co had been highly-rated by others, so when we made the mistake of going to Les Halles too late on a Monday and the market was closed, we wound up here -- it's just across the street from Les Halles. Good, but not on my list of places to return to.
