We always come here for lunch mainly because they have really good oysters. It's a good unpretentious small restaurant that has just expanded its outdoor space. Not expensive, friendly service, pleasant atmosphere. One of my lunchtime favorites!

We found this restaurant right beside Les Halles parking lot. We arrived just a few minutes before two and were late for any menus. We both had the fish soup with rouille and all the trimmings, and it was very good. I had sausages and fries which were good but a little expensive at 10 euros. My spouse had mussels... More

In a nice setting along the Canal du Midi. Outdoor seating is very pleasant. The menu was 20 or 25 euros for a very good salad, salmon, and dessert. The service was very good and friendly. They were very busy so reservations are recommended. We'd definitely eat here again.

Along the expansive parkway running along the Canal du Midi. Pleasant outdoor setting to watch the world go by. Well prepared food served with a bit more aplomb than many in this region. English-speaking wait-staff.

Had lunch there and took the menu for €12 which lets you have the starter and mains of the day. Excellent value. I should have taken the fish which was a nice filet with very good rouille - separately served. After recent deseasters with unidentifiable fish drowned in thick sauce, I was weary now. Not necessary. The rouille was the... More

I hadn't dined here since this restaurant went under new management, but we've just had an excellent 24 euro menu - 6 oysters, a large tuna steak beautifully cooked, and some sort of lemon curd dessert. all on a deliciously warm evening next to the newly refurbished canalside.

Interesting menu but with average execution. Service good with a friendly welcome. Great outlook over the canal and impressive buildings. However, not a comfortable place as it was too cold to even remove our coats.

When they are on form it is marvellous – BUT when they get very busy then standards REALLY DROP!. Service goes by the board and food gets very overcooked. Normally fish is their speciality and I have had some lovely food here, but also some that was terrible. Simple solution 1) reserve – it is very popular and 2) go... More

Turned away from our first choice due to lack of reservations, we used this restaurant as a fall-back, and were agreeably surprised. Prices lower than many other places in town, with a good selection both set price and a la carte. Had a very good rillette and delicious grilled sausage, entrecote steak was tasty but a little tougher than we... More

We first visited over 10 years ago and have gone back every time we are in Narbonne. We always look forward to eating there and this year was as good as ever.
