We asked at the Tourist Office for a recommendation for lunch and the helpful lady there gave us a brochure and marked five places which she said provided good Nimoise fare and she was certainly right. Rain was threatening so the outside tables weren't in use but inside Au Flan Coco there's a lovely courtyard restaurant with an awning and... More

We chose the 3 course menu and were delighted with it.The main course was particularly good.We chose the filet d'agneau and both agreed it was the best lamb we had eaten in a long time and perfectly cooked. We had a pichet of wine ,which was also very good value.....maybe the desserts didn't quite match the standard of the other courses,but... We read the last reports on Tripadvisor and went in spite of the poor reviews ,as we have eaten there before and always had a good meal.We took a friend along with us and had a very enjoyable lunch. The three of us had a different starter and a different main course each which was not just presented pleasingly to the... A group of us visited this restaurant after seeing a recommendation of the DK city guide for Nimes. At best it was okay and reasonable value for money. The location in a small side street is nice and it was good to sit outside and people watch. The food is at best average; the menu descriptions far outweigh reality and... More

It was raining, which is quite rare in these parts, so having no umbrellas we decided to follow people piling into this popular restaurant, rather than get soaked on a hike to our favourite restaurant. The place was almost full at 12.25 and we were lucky to get a table straight away as we had no reservation. The staff were... More

How could you offer so much choise with the menu ? Sure they're not homemade cooking just Microwaves users, no authantic southern recepies, just industrial restaurant, nice place in catholic place but so stupid restaurant, nice Wines but no A-express card or Diners...What a shame for french chiefs.

We had dinner at Flan Coco and we were really disappointed by the food. The restaurant is very large (multiple rooms and a very large patio) and it is no surprise that you get an industrial type experience in your plate. We had the set menu and the foie gras lacked taste and the lamb never met the mushrooms which... More

We met up with friends for a meal here, having read previous reviews. It's housed in a beautiful building with high vaulted ceilings and chandeliers. The menu isn't huge but more than adequate. I chose not to have the house speciality (Flan Coco!) which is a sort of giant pasty of sliced potatoes in puff pastry - and I have... More

I was wondering if it was even necessary to add to the many good reviews.I went to this restaurant because of them and I was not disappointed.Having spend a lot of time in France,I know that good, inexpensive restaurants are hard to find nowadays. You can eat well if you spend a lot of money but most restaurants are ordinary. Not this... During our trip in Camargue we have seen and tested several restaurants, but this one is really the best !!! The menu is based on several entries but the most important one is the Flan Coco. It's a salted cake based on potates filled by others ingredients on your choice. We tested 2 variations based on cheese, bacon and onion... More
