Positives: Very good value for money The food is very fresh and tasty Negatives: We booked on the phone and could only get indoor seating Indoors it is very hot (seating is almost in the kitchen!) There were several EMPTY tables outside THROUGHOUT our meal Caution: When ordering the filet mignon, don't be surprised if you end up with pork!

Really amazing find... The space is small, but it was the only place we could find that let us in for dinner at 23h... I'm so glad they did. This ended up being the best food we had the whole trip. I had the warm goat cheese and black olive topinade stuffed pastry on a bed of greens for a... More

Thym et Romarin is a little miracle of a restaurant. It knows good food, good wine and good service. For around 20€ you get a three-course dinner with flavorful food of fantastic quality. The service is warm and welcoming and our waiter was smiling and courteous. I'm definitely going back to try more of their delicious dishes.

We'll, we have been to this place many times in the past and we always enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. This time, things went a bit wrong... First, I ordered a scotch whiskey, but they were running out and I 've got the end of the bottle.....for free...I can't really complain, can I... Then the starter...foie gras poile.... Beautiful... We had a table booked for 7.30 and were ushered to an empty restaurant which didn't seem great but the restaurant filled up very quickly as every table was reserved. The menu is short and seasonal, between us we tried the confit of duck which was fabulous and steak in a wine sauce which also tasted great. Our starters of... More

Having read the positive reviews from Tripadvisor contributors, I decided to dine with my husband at Thym & Romarin on his birthday. It was a disappointment from beginning to end : the restaurant is tiny (but is it really cozy?) and the open kitchen sends in all the smells if you are in the street level room. By the end... More

We stayed in Montpellier in 2009 and loved this place so were eager to see if it was still as good. Thankfully it was. We had the formula of entree, main and dessert which was just a bit too much food for us. Between us we had the roast camembert, duck pate, steak, duck confit, creme bruee and the ice... More

We had a wonderful meal at Thym et Romarin. The service was excellent, friendly and helpful, and the beef and the chocolate fondant were dreamy.

Gorgeous meal first night in Montpellier. Camembert roti, followed by confit of duck and ending with glacé, marron puree and chocolate sauce. Husband had nice food too and was all washed dowm with local wine. Definitely recommend it to anyone...

We booked this restaurant after reading the reviews on trip advisor. We both went for the 3 courses for €19 and were really pleased with our choices. For main I had a perfectly cooked steak and my partner had confit duck. Dessert was a huge creme brulee. We sat outside so I can't vouch for the interior. The server was... More
