I ate there three times for dinner, and one lunch while teaching in Montpellier. At one point the waiter told me that I should know the menu by heart; I pretty much did. Service and food were consistently good. The setting is great: Two beautiful terraces enclosed by hedges and covered by tall trees; a serene and beautiful environment for... More

Extremely pleasant courtyard setting, excellent service and exceptional food quality. Together with very attentive and unassuming staff, definitely recommended. One of the highlights of our two weeks holiday in Montpelllier.

This was recommended to us by the owner of our hotel, and it did not disappoint. We elected to opt for the Petit Jardin Set Menu. (A menu in English was available on request, though it was easy enough to understand the description of the dishes in French). For 53 euros, this allowed 3 choices for each course. After a... More

The back garden seating area is gorgeous. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the food is out of this world. Very fresh and creative. It was a nice touch to have live music when we dined there too!

Our concierge at the Pullman Hotel (which we would highly recommend as a place to stay in Montpellier) suggested we try Le Petit Jardin. We had a wonderful meal , set in a beautiful courtyard setting with a church cathedral overlooking our courtyard. The food was exquisite with a wonderful vegetarian /pasta option for my wife and a fantastic cote... More

Very good restaurant. Located, in Montpellier’s city centre, near the The Porte du Peyrou. Lovely setting, beautiful garden situation. Service was excellent and friendly. The “menu fixe” is relatively limited, but ideal for lower budgets and a good way to try their food. Ideally, the a la carte is recommended. This restaurant also has a nice looking wine bar which... Was recommended by our guesthouse host and was an excellent choice. My steak was done to perfection and was an excellent piece of meat. Staff were very attentive. The dessert wasn't to the same standard as the main but not enough to cost them a star so in total would say it was a 5 star evening with high quality... More

We had a wonderful meal here last night. The food and the recommended wine were all perfect. Couldn't fault the service and ambience. Would be great in the summer eating in the beautiful garden at the back of the restaurant. We're going back again on our last night in Montpellier.
