Lovely location, great service

Very good restaurant. Located, in Montpellier’s city centre, near the The Porte du Peyrou. Lovely setting, beautiful garden situation. Service was excellent and friendly. Our concierge at the Pullman Hotel (which we would highly recommend as a place to stay in Montpellier) suggested we try Le Petit Jardin. We had a wonderful meal , set in a beautiful courtyard setting with a church cathedral overlooking our courtyard. The food was exquisite with a wonderful vegetarian /pasta option for my wife and a fantastic cote... More

Was recommended by our guesthouse host and was an excellent choice. My steak was done to perfection and was an excellent piece of meat. Staff were very attentive. The dessert wasn't to the same standard as the main but not enough to cost them a star so in total would say it was a 5 star evening with high quality... More

We had a wonderful meal here last night. The food and the recommended wine were all perfect. Couldn't fault the service and ambience. Would be great in the summer eating in the beautiful garden at the back of the restaurant. We're going back again on our last night in Montpellier.

My wife & I had a fantastic meal at Le Petit Jardin. There is a restaurant and a bistro but we opted for the restaurant. It was one of the best meals we have had in France. The place doesn't score that well on Tripadvisor which is a real mystery but not uncommon in Southern France based on our experiences.... More

How is it possible that this excellent restaurant is rated behind some cafés and pizzerias? There is something wrong here! We have eaten here half a dozen times: every time the cooking is excellent and creative. The terrace is wonderful in summer and the interior, in winter, is modern and chic. Service perfect. Wines at reasonable prices and the bill... More

My wife and I, together with her cousin and husband ate here on the Saturday before Christmas. I chose this restaurant partly because the menus inform you about gluten in case of allergies. We were greeted in a very friendly manner, one of the staff is English but has lived in France for several years. All four of us chose... More

Last week on saturday lunch I visited this restaurant with my family and we enjoyed the meal alot. I took the menu 36 including the magret de canard and was perfectly cooked. the waiters were so friendly as well and not like the traditional arrogant french waiter that I met few days ago in a renowned restaurant in Paris. Highly... More

We had a very enjoyable meal here, artichokes and chorizo for starter, and for main the best pork dish I've had in a long time. The wine list was full of locally sourced wines, and the red we had was superb. The service was also excellent, and the waiters happily switched to speaking English once we'd exhausted our own French... More
