Simply the best

We use to travel a lot around the world, went to hundred of places in many countries. However this is the best restaurant we have ever been. Ok, we took a very expensive menu with more than 10 dishes, desserts. It took us 4 hours to enjoy it. Cannot describe it in details but everything is... read more

A very high-level restaurant, and very posh indeed, maybe even snobbish, at least so it seemed by the look of the guests. The waiters were really nice, they did a perfect job!! We had the lunch menu, and the food was really nice, but it just was not my favorite. Still I can see that the kitchen did a great... More

Food is most important to me in a restaurant and I was a little disappointed. Had the 90 Euro menu including wine. The mixed seafood appetizer was nice. The main course of steak was okay but snow peas over cooked. The setting and restaurant appearance were attractive, looking out over a garden. The service was attentive but somewhat pretentious. Only... More

Well cooked, well presented and delicious meal but pricey. The glass garden room is very pleasant and the staff well trained but it lacks 'je ne sais quoi' to give it 5 stars.

I have been in France for four weeks and in Montpellier for two. I have eaten very well in Paris and in Montpellier. But my meal tonight was an excruciating and disappointing experience. It is hot here, and the restaurants that do not use fans, ac, or water mist systems will be too hot. But a hotel restaurant with a... More

I think Michelin has this rating right at one star. The cuisine is excellent, but not sublime. However, MIchelin starts are not the be-all and end-all of restaurant dining: the whole experience at Le Jardin des Sens is lovely and well worth it, from the beautiful terraced dining room with its views of the garden and pool to the attentive... From all tables you have a beautiful view of the Jardin des Sens. And the service by the tables is at a very high level. It is highly recommended.

It is so nice to revisit a place and find that it has maintained if not improved. The Jardin has done that. The staff are helpful and friendly, food is excellent, the rooms very comfortable and the Garden itself is today, very beautiful. Sadly they are closing at the end of the year and moving to as yet an unknown... More

Only one Star ! I do not get it. We stayed at the hotel and tried the restaurant. Even if the area in Montpellier is not the most glamorous one, which seems to be addressed, the level of service, condition of the room and more than anything the quality of Cuisine was far better that previous 1 or 2 stars... This one star Michelin restaurant is outstanding. The garden setting, with large windows overlooking a pond surrounded by plants, make for a delightful lunch. The set lunch includes a glass of wine, 7 tiny appetizers, a choice of the first course being shrimp on asparagus or a Mediterranean salad. The second course is duck or sea bass. Both are delicious.... More
