This one star Michelin restaurant is outstanding. The garden setting, with large windows overlooking a pond surrounded by plants, make for a delightful lunch. The set lunch includes a glass of wine, 7 tiny appetizers, a choice of the first course being shrimp on asparagus or a Mediterranean salad. The second course is duck or sea bass. Both are delicious.... More

The best location ever. Great wines and magical food, which deserves more that 1 star michelin. We’ve tested 28 restaurants in the region and this one is among top 5!

We went there to try it since most people we encounter and even other restaurant workers in Montpellier recommends this restaurant. Finally we phoned to reserve a table for my birthday. So many little things given before and after which was nice.... food was delicious i have to admit but not enough in quantity. One would have to go fetch... More

We were here for lunch with high expectations- reputation and star ratings having created this. Basically, the food and the presentation is exceptional. Deserts were to die for. One entré disappointed most of us- a mixture of flavours which did not harmonise. Staff described dishes when serving. Interesting that virtually all of us ( mainly french)were " in conference" each... More

This restaurant is truly one of the best restaurants I have ever visited. the food was almost without fault! My best friend and I booked lunch during a hot day in Montpelier and walked in to find the restaurant was truly an oasis away from the heat of the day. The restaurant is in a large and tall room with... More

We decided to spend one night in Montpellier specifically to have dinner at this restaurant. After sending an email 2 months prior to our intended reservation and receiving a prompt confirmation, on arrival we were advised they did not have our reservation. After some meaningful looks between the maître de and female receptionist we were told that a table would... More

I found info about this restaurant in the travel guide of Montpellier (2 stars of Michelin) and decided to visit it for my next day breakfast. I sent the letter with a request to book a table for me and recieved the answer in an hour. Next day I was there in time (a little bit inconvenient to reach the... More

My wife and I had the pleasure of dining here in June this year. The exterior facade belies the experience to be had within the restaurant. This was our first night of a month long stay in Languedoc- Roussillon and we wanted to start it on a high note. We had the 'Sens et Decouverte' tasting menu which was spectacular.... More

We totally enjoyed our lunch at Le Jardin des Sens. The restaurant is located 15 minutes walk from from the 'old city' & outside doesn't look much. However the glass cube dining room with gardens all around is tranquil. The staff are very professional & the feel of the place is a little bit traditional. The 49euro lunch menu is... More

We booked a double room with the "du terroir' menu and breakfast. A very warm welcome on arrival from all the very helpful staff. The room was excellent. Spotlessly clean and well equipped. Quiet and good air-conditioning. There were ample and interesting " nibbles" with aperitifs and then on to supper. A generous 'amuse buche' would have done as the... More
