On a quiet evening mid week in October we had no problem getting a table for two in the courtyard. Service was OK early in the evening but slowed down a lot as the place filled up, as it seems one of the two young ladies was also cooking. The food was a bit below average with little flavour and... Very good value, offering decent (not outstanding) food at a good price, avoiding the temptation to be a straightforward tourist rip-off. And what a lovely courtyard setting! Starters had the edge over the mains, but this is good well presented. Go there

I spent two months in Montpellier this summer, and I ate at this restaurant multiple times for both lunch and dinner. It would be hard to duplicate the good food, nice ambiance and the very reasonable prices that this place offers. At lunch is not that busy, but it is an excellent place to enjoy a two-course meal for about... More

Difficult to find, but worth it. Once you are in the little square you feel truly out of the bustle of the Montpellier streets (we were there during the sales, so you can imagine). Service was efficient, friendly, and tolerant of my schoolboy French. We took the standard 19€ menu, with a nicely flavoured fish served "paella style", and three... More

Really poor, little flavour & inept something was badly wrong here - from bland saucing of the house special to a cold heavy set chocolate fondant? Check before you go

While not the easiest place to find, we enjoyed meandering the side streets of Montpellier to find this charming restaurant. Apparently we were not the only ones who knew to look for this restaurant - so be sure to reserve. Food & wine were very good and reasonably priced.

Located in the historical center, it is a bit hard to find. However, once you're there, you're in for a treat. You only have half a dozen or so choices as entrees or main dishes, but each one is prepared with great quality. Each dish has a great smell and taste. The price/quality relationship is completely favorable. You won’t be... More

Great decor, lots of character, good food at a reasonable price, friendly relaxed service. Flambee at table looked great, pain perdou dessert was a great finish to a fantastic meal out.

The beauftiful City of Montpellier is overflowing with hosteries and can therefore be very difficult to negotiate with regard to where best to eat lunch, have a coffee, drink a beer or eat 'diner' The clement weather and large amount of heated and partially covered outdoor seating always looks appealing but further investigation down the side streets always pays off.... The food was quite nice. The menu was around 19€ per person. The building was nice, but the decor was quite basic.
