Stumbled across this charming bistro while wandering the historic district one afternoon, and went back for dinner. The menu is very reasonably priced, and features classic French dishes. The service was friendly and attentive, and dining in the cozy courtyard made for a memorable evening. The duck confit and desserts were quite good, but the real standout was a first... More

Had a lovely meal here recently, the set menu price is really competitive and the food was stunning. I had the duck and it was sumptuous, not an once of fat on it and it melted off the bone. The wine in the carafes is cheap and inviting, but don't bother with the white. The red on the other hand... More

This is my favorite restaurant in Montpellier. It is located in a Medieval building which is decorated in a cozy atmosphere. The food is wonderful French cuisine at great prices. I was surprised how reasonable prices were. I had succulent duck confit one night and another night I had salmon with a mushroom/cream side. The owner is very knowlegedeable about... More

We enjoyed a good meal here. The prices are very competitive - 17.50 Euros for a main and dessert (or main and starter), both of which were delicious if not absolutely top notch. The servings are not massive, but perfectly adequate and well cooked. We ate in the little courtyard outside - a nice, quiet atmosphere, surrounded by the tall... More

Pleasant venue. Very competitive pricing which can't be achieved without making some compromises but everything we had was fine. Smallish wine list of which some are hugely expensive but the more readable offerings are very good and affordable

Eating in a small courtyard, slightly unusually because of the height of the buildings, but pleasant enough. Reasonable choices for each course, but we thought the starters over-elaborate. Wine is charged by how much you drink from a bottle. Friendly and pleasant staff.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and thought the service was friendly and efficient. Set menu has plenty of choice. The desserts were particularly delicious.

On a quiet evening mid week in October we had no problem getting a table for two in the courtyard. Service was OK early in the evening but slowed down a lot as the place filled up, as it seems one of the two young ladies was also cooking. The food was a bit below average with little flavour and... Very good value, offering decent (not outstanding) food at a good price, avoiding the temptation to be a straightforward tourist rip-off. And what a lovely courtyard setting! Starters had the edge over the mains, but this is good well presented. Go there
