The service was very friendly, and food fantastic. It was a busy Friday night and we were very well looked after. Highly recommended, especially the canard!!

We are staying here for a few weeks and have gone plenty of restaurants for lunch and dinner. we stopped for lunch here after it was recommended by a colleague and we are so glad that we did. The terrace was full so we sat inside and it was perfectly quirky, clean, and relaxing. We glanced at the menu but... More

Everything was just right, the food, the decor, the staff, the atmosphere and even the dog! We booked a table for 7.30 and were the first ones in there but it soon filled up. Every course was faultless. We had ravioli salad and savoury tiramisu, beef fillet with dauphinoise potatoes and gambas with tomato tart, and for desert, the salted... More

We always enjoy France and love to go out for dinner. This was really an extremely positive experience. We took a 3 course meal and we loved all the courses. Great tasting and also well presented food (not always the case in France). One of the best meals for I've ever had. A+++ A must try! Only downside: the small... More

Homely little restaurant looking for an almost achieved balance between feeling at home and unexpected dining. A two or three couses menu is offered with a resonably wide choice: I ate a salmon starter, a wonderful duck breast with goat cheese and a stunning white chocolate and raspberry dessert! Few places, so think of booking in advance! Pros: inventive interpretation... More

Our only night in Montpellier was made even better by this awesome little restaurant, we managed to get the last table outside and was greeted by 2 lovely waitresses who did their best to speak english which was greatly appreciated, the meals were amazing and well worth the price, we would definitely return here if we were to return to... I wanted a great French meal on la fete nationale and La Cocotte did not disappoint. The menu was creative, the service was attentive, the setting was inspiring and the food, delicious. It was midday on the holiday so I had no problem getting a table outside. (Just be aware that Mother Nature's trees are reproducing so there are buds... More

WOW! - Best restaurant we ate in the whole week we were in Montpellier with delicious French flavours. A busy Saturday night but we managed to squeeze onto a table inside. Wonderful atmosphere both inside and outside on the square, helpful waitress and YUMMY food. The mini ravioli and the savoury Tirimisu (moose/cheese/tomato layers) starters were FABULOUS taste sensations and... More
