Nice Restaurant-Great Food

My family, girlfriend, and I all loved this place. What a unique dining experience! Very relaxed and non-touristy and local. A French take on tapas: wonderfully executed; yet the food is uniquely French. The owner himself graciously attended to us with great care and enthusiasm for us Americans. He explained the unique ordering process, which is simple - you order... More

I am in Montpellier for a short time, and found this place near where i am staying. Inside is very modern with different types of seating. The food is different from the usual restaurant, instead of serving on the plates its served in small shot glass. The Chef recommend 6 main and 3 dessert. I had 7 main (Warm &... More

We found this restaurant on here and we were definitely not disappointed! The concept is, as described in earlier reviews, truly a unique concept. The food shots were amazing particularly given that it is vegetarian friendly which is important for my boyfriend. Another benefit is being able to eat as much or as little as you would like!

Great food, great service and very interesting concept. The owner takes care of you and is very kind to explain the concept which in my opinion is more like sampler menu served in shot glasses. There is a great variety of options in both salty and sweet flavors. Well with checking it out!

I didn't know what to expect at this place, but several friends recommended it to me, so we went. The owner is a great host & made us feel very welcome. We were there when it opened so we were able to talk to the owner a little bit which made me even more impressed with his place. There was... More

This was truly a great meal and a great concept. Jean-Daniel, the owner and chef, prepares the dishes in the afternoon and serves them personally for dinner. The menu varies in options, but basically, for two people you get 18 glasses filled with different prepared dishes. Each dish is wildly different but it all goes together fantastically. As small as... More

Recommended to me by a local friend this restaurant is a hidden treasure of Montpellier. The concept and presentation of the food is fantastic and my only qualm with it was that I wanted more of each cup because the taste of each is so good but allows you to taste everything on the menu which is hard enough to... A great experience. Eat as little or as much as you wish. Great to share with a wide variety of savory or sweet flavors to choose from. I left feeling full and at a very reasonable price. The owner was a real delight. Wish we had a place like this in the states!

The shot-glasses instantly seduce you as one enters the small restaurant. It is truly a feast for your eyes and pure pleasure as you take the first bite. The choices are varied and the flavor, texture, and presentation are exquisite. Bravo to Jean-Daniel, the owner, who is not only a gracious host, but also great chef.
