Good fun night

We went here with our two young kids. They had a kids menu which had fish and chips that my son loved. The sangria was great - I would highly recommend it. My husband and daughter had the paella which they both loved. I had a Caribbean twist tasting platter. I loved it. I even loved the blood... read more

We opted for one of the menus du jour on offer at this restaurant which comprised of three courses (including the local version of paella) and a glass of sangria. The food was fine but the dishes were served much too quickly with no time between courses. In fact we were barely halfway through the starter when we were served... More

Food here is decent but not exceptional. Tapas starters were very nice but my duck with noodles was too salty. Mas Christine wine recommended was fantastic. Bit pricey too

We just passed by and saw the food on the plates and went there the next day. I would say that this restaurant deserves a higher ranking, because it is a great and innovative cuisine. There are several specialities that should be ordered in advance. Please start with their sangria made with white wine, which is very smooth, and try... More

Tapas plates are just great! We've taken two plates for my wife, myself and our two little girls (who have a good appetite). The owner is nice for real.

Arriving in Collioure around 12:30 on a Thursday in December we did not have high expectations regarding the choices of lunch venue. Fortunately we took an excellent left turn down a side street and found ourselves outside La Claire Fontaine. Delicious food, excellent staff and simply superb music not to mention the fabulous decor. Loved every morsel.

I must admit I probably would not have picked this restaurant, as the menu descriptions and pictures of the food are not that enticing. Fortunately for us, my wife's relative who is a local, took us here for dinner. La Claire Fontaine is clearly a restaurant focused on great cooking rather than marketing hype. Everything on the tapas plate (Serrano... More

First Impressions. Restaurant Claire Fontaine is a delightful French eatery in the center of Collioure that also serves tasty Spanish Tapas. It is a cosy restaurant located in the narrow streets with a limited number of covers but a great ambience and comfortable seating. The Food & Service. The food here is very good, with a friendly helpful service to... More

Email laclaire.fontaine66@gmail.com, 8 rue St. Vincent. We went there on our 25th anniversary celebration, and were not disappointed. Let's start with the fact that the owner/maître/chef, Patrick Fleau, is a great entertainer, and impossible not to like. Young and energetic, he is a main attraction at this small restaurant, which seats perhaps only 20 diners inside ( a few more... More
