A welcome lunchtime break

Being Monday, the choice of where to eat was limited so we were happy to find this small restaurant where there were many locals enjoying their lunch. We joined them, sitting outside in early March, to enjoy their “Daily Menu” which for us was mainly fish – the food was well cooked and presented... read more

ok - out of season, but we reserved an exterior table on the street in the spring sun for 1pm. Had 2x the menu du jour 23.50E, a pichet vin de pays and had a great time for a couple of hours, watching the world go by, and the shops re-open on a 4-way corner. Our meal was simple but... More

Tucked away behind the main harbour front in a sunny corner makes this an ideal lunchtime stop away from the crowds by the harbour. Lovely staff and a great menu with lots of sea food especially if you like muscles. Good value and some outside seating, all be it on the street, it was great to sit outside and eat... More

Chose this place, in one street back from the front, as we thought it might be less expensive, plus not many open at this time. Pleased with our choice. 2 main courses and 1 beer = 35 Euros

The place was busy with French people and so we went in. They did a set menu for 26 Euro which looked good. Starter was fine and the wine came. We asked for a 250 ml carafe of wine and they came with 500 ml one. The main course came and it contained Prawns which stank of ammonia. Surely a... More

We came across this one when looking for somewhere else but thought why not. It's nicely situated in one of the many side streets back from the main sea front restaurants. We intended to sit outside but didn't fancy the table for 4 with another couple we were offered and then another table under one of those heaters that looks... More

Had a wander around the narrow streets of Collioure and settled here for lunch. Had Moules Banyuls and Scallops et Gambas. Food came in good time and was very tasty indeed. Good value to and the staff were efficient and friendly enough. All in all it must be down to expectation but our lunch was very tasty indeed.

Good location close to the seafront in one of the charming tiny streets of the old quarter in Collioure. Very nice attentive waiter. Outside table. I had the best casseroulet de pecheur you could wish for full of delicious seafood, fish, mussels, prawns, calamari on a potato base with a wonderful soup. My fellow diners enjoyed a Dorado dish and... More

Great find just off the main harbour strip (where prices are high and quality not so). Ate here with another couple of friends and we all went with the menu. Excellent. From the sangria right through to the desserts was all a delight and the servers were friendly and having a laugh with us all through the meal. Great atmosphere.... More

After a long day on the beach and with a hungry three year old and a diabetic in our group, we managed to find this restaurant which served before 7pm. Although the restaurant is small it was very clean and well laid out and we were heartily welcomed. The service was informal at best with the friendly owner and waiters... More
