Uninspiring

We ate here on 18th of April. One of us had eaten here a few times before and recommended it. She was very disappointed. The menu was quite limited, the presentation basic. The food was tasty enough but did not deliver on expectations especially relative to price. On the plus side, the staff... read more

It was raining the day we were in Collioure, France off the Windsurf and finished a hike to the fort when we walked past Les Templiers. It was suggested on the Windsurf to try the seafood in Collioure and especially to visit Les Templiers to see the walls of the restaurant filled with local artwork. We tried the anchovies and... We're not exactly haute cuisine connoisseurs, but we know our way around food and we liked the 16 euro menu du jour at the Templiers a great lot. Hearty portions, well-cooked, nicely decorated...not much left to want for in our opinion. It was a hot day and we sat on the shaded terrace - but the inside was a sight... More

This hotel was highly recommended and we were not disappointed. We did not stay there but had a delicious lunch, very good value in quirky surroundings. Although we were not staying we were invited to view all the art work.We visited Collioure by train from Montpellier, which avoided parking problems. The journey took 2 hrs part of which was between the... We came for dinner during Easter vacation when the town was full of families. On this strip there are several restaurants and this one was the only one with customers. Lots of lively locals. The food was good (I had the perennial favorite - entrecôte. The Banyuls sauce is really a great addition)

Great location with a choice of inside and out seating areas, but had a rather uninspiring menu. With not much else open in the evenings in March, this was the only choice. The waiter did not seem to want to work and the choice of food was limited. Once the food arrived it was ok, but not great, but satisfied... More

Great atmosphere and history, but the food and service so-so. I'd advise travelers to have a drink here and examine the walls of the stair to the upstairs rooms but for their mean, try one of the many great tapas bars in this town.

I really enjoyed this restaurant. We were there in the summer so everyone wanted to eat outside so we had the inside pretty much to ourselves. Good food at a reasonable price. It's interesting to look at all the painting on the walls. Try the banyuls, it's great.

Wonderful friendly service and spotless rooms. The history of the painters who visited and painted this lovely town and stayed in this hotel is evident all over the walls of this charming place. We only had one night and wished we had stayed longer. The perfect central location to explore the town and there is much to enjoy and discover.
