I've been to "Chez Simone" before, though this is the first time I've been with my little dog! It's a small bistro type eatery right on Collioure sea front. The first question I asked was whether I could eat outside with my dog in tow, and I was told "yes" without hesitation. I had an entrée salad and a smoked... More

Had lunch here twice during our stay in Collioure. Food was very good, fresh and well cooked. The service was also excellent, couldn't fault it in any way.

We were hungry mid afternoon and some restaurants were not open so we sat outside at this restaurant and the service, food and wine were not fancy or great but fine. Our waiter spoke English which was very helpful. We had a veggie crepe and salad and wine and a crème Catalane (like crème brule).

We ran into this place by mistake and loved the food and the mood of the place! The staff were very very friendly, the food was delicious, interesting and well served. Feeling of a local good and fresh food with great atmosphere.

Maybe we've visited this place on the month of February, maybe it was quite out of the season for a little village , no matter the time or reason, but the quality of Cheeseburger was surely unacceptable ! The worst meat burger we ordered in our life. Not exagerating. So we couldn't eat them. The meat was so bad tasted... More

Coming from NJ, where the weather this winter has been tremendously cold, it was so nice to sit at Chez Simone's terrace on a sunny day, and enjoy a wonderful lunch while admiring the old Collioure stone church "floating" on the sea. The service was very friendly and the food, oh so good! We had a delicious dorade, a mouthwatering... More

Little can beat sitting on the beach front in Collioure on a sunny February day and eating lunch at this restaurant. Service is great, food unpretentious and tasty, house wine excellent. We have enjoyed this several times over the past few weeks and can only bear to tear ourselves away when the sun disappears!

The worst meal during our 9-day stay in the region. My fried squid were greasy and tasteless, and some had been so frightened in the deep fryer that they resembled crisp bacon rather than squid. My husband thought he was playing safe with tapas but, alas, these too proved tasteless and badly presented. The price is correct but no care... More

We return to Chez Simone's every year we visit Collioure - and this year was no exception. In fact we ate there twice in a week. The tapas is great, with plenty of choice. The staff are really friendly and helpful - and don't make you feel pressured even if they're busy and they could clearly get other customers for... More

Great service and great views however the tapas were very mediocre. Had the 28€ tapas menu for 2 people. They were basic, lacked imagination and tasted just ok. Come for the view and stick to the coffee.
