We stopped off here for a quick 'Tapas' lunch whilst in Collioure on a wine tour of the region, as we had read some excellent reviews of this small 'Tapas Bar' - what a mistake! The tapas of the day selection was extremely limited & very disappointing, service was pleasant enough BUT extremely slow - everything came at once (hot... More

Good range of dishes and great hosts with a superb atmosphere. Don't be put off by the size, it is small but cozy. Food is tasty and the wine very good.

Relaxed, jazzy atmosphere with authentic Tapas - away from the main 'tourist run' of Collioure - one to be noted ! Try the Sangria !

Possibly the worst food we've ever eaten in France and served with a good dollop of condescension. The proprietor/"chef", everything is reheated in a microwave, clearly knows nothing about food or has stopped caring. Avoid!

The idea of the kitchen and servery being inside a bus is certainly different, but decor isn't everything and even if this is a tourist trap of a town , there is competition. The food has to be a little interesting

Had a meal for two here on Sunday 8th September after reading good reviews. Cost for six tapas dishes, bottle of wine and a coffee was 64 Euro, so not a cheap meal but reasonable. The staff did not speak much English so it was hard to understand all the dishes on offer, although dishes of the day are on... More

I'm surprised of the good reviews about this tapas bar. It was no more than average to us, and some of "today's special" weren't even available when we got there as it opended for the evening. Drinks weren't particularly cheap, so I don't see the fuss other people are making. No offence but I had much nicer level of food... More

We ate inside (they also have a few tables outside on the street as well as a terrace) and that turned out to be a lucky thing! The food is nicely displayed at the bar and it was great fun first looking through the options and then asking the waitress what was what and getting her recommendations! The gnocchi with... More

Popped in here for a more casual dinner one evening and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It is crammed down a back street and wedged behind one of the more poular tourist tyoe restaurants but La Cuisine Comptoir offers great food at a reasonable price with really good, friendly service and a fantastic atmosphere. We shared several tapas dishes including squid (cooked... More
