We ordered two midday meals one of the meals was acceptable the other which was a steak meal was inedible. The steak resembled rubber and I was unable to eat it. At the end of the meal when we paid the bill there was no acceptance that the meat resembled rubber and we had to pay the full price. I... More

We decided to eat here after seeing the reviews on here, and we weren't disappointed. The food may be a little more pricy but the quality was amazing. We had the sharing platter to start with, which was huge (we shared one for 3 between 4 adults and 2 kids, and there was more than enough!!). The mains were all... More

Nice simple menu. Food as good as would be expected of French cuisine. Overall enjoyable experience with good service. Better than the average restaurant in collioure.

We had the set menu for 39 eur, which included an asian salmon thing, a filet of beef and a chocolate fondant. So the starter was a bit weird in my opinion, as they didn't use normal sashimi, but like a norwegian style grav lax (it tasted that way). This combo was a bit weird, but if you had a... More

So far the best meal we had. Fast service, original dishes, high quality cooking. I specifically loved the risotto with Saint Jacques and Shiitaki.

We enjoyed a great meal at Le Vauban last night. The restaurant is situated in the old town and there is a constant flow of people wandering past making it great for people watching. We chose the 34euro menu, delicious fresh salmon, a thick perfectly seared tuna steak with pesto & all sorts of vegetables & finally a yummy chocolate... More

We booked based upon Tripadvisor and, yes, from the exterior it would not automatically suggest something special, but it was! We had reserved an outside table and glad we had as all the others were full when we arrived. We had a tuna tartare, suburb, and an exceptional marinaded anchovies with roasted pepper. This followed by a plate of huge... More

Went early one Monday evening (7 o'clock). Waitress appeared bored, tired and disinterested. Wife's salmon was just dull and my scallop risotto stodgy and over creamy. Puddings were somewhat better (pannacotta /Paris breast). Unfortunate conclusion later that evening was that I was very ill (I will spare the details). This ruined the rest of our short stay in collioure. I... More

Our third night in Collioure, and by a country mile the best meal we've had so far. I had duck and my wife had the beef priced at €20, both were delicious and the presentation and accompaniments were delightful. We have a few more restaurants to sample before the end of our stay, but on the basis of our meal... More

The best evening meal we had all week while staying in Collioure. Wonderful food, beautifully presented, with excellent service. We opted for a pitcher of the house red at 8 euros for 50cl, and it was one of the best we had all week. Would definitely recommend.
