Seafood feast

We had lunch here recently. Great location on the beach, pleasant enough atmosphere, good service and the food was great. He had a huge pile of fresh shellfish for entre, I had the excellent seafood soup and we shared the paella: it was delicious and we would recommend it all. We will return here!!

Chose menu whose main course was fish of the day. When asked informed it was a whole lemon sole ; so fine. However when it arrived the fish was so small you could fit in the palm of your hand; hardly what one would call a normal portion. Worst of all; when complaint was made it was treated with absolute... More

Couliere, a town with an abundance of seafood to choose from and equally as many restaurants. We walked around the cove perusing the many premises and selected this restaurant for their set course lunch. Beautifully located waterside with views to the clock tower. The staff, jovial, attentative and efficient. The food servings were more than ample and a €15 three... More

Great spot to share some wine, food and views. Short stroll from the pass on the waterfront, the paella has to be the best I've ever tasted.....

The lunch menu starts at 15 euros for 3 courses. There are several choices for each course and the food is great. Who says eating out in France is expensive!

We ate at this place partly because it was right next to our hotel (Hotel Boramar, also great!) but I'm really glad we did. I ordered a Plat Du Jour which had a great appetizer and wonderful fish entree and creme brule for dessert. My friend had the moules and frites (mussels and fries) which she said were not only... We arrived late for lunch, the place was full but two of us managed to get a table for four, in the middle of the restaurant. I had the lunch menu which was great. For starters I had the mussels, which was huge pot full of them. I was waiting to have five or ten at most, like restaurants back... More

We have visited L'Amphitrion ( L'Amphytrion / L'Amphitryon) over the years and used to love it, but went off it a few years ago after a very poor meal and some unfriendly service. It seems to have pulled itself together again though, so we tried it today for a quick lunch, just moules frites. Reasonably priced at 12€ each and... More

We stayed here for 6 nights in a room with a stellar view of the harbor and a nice little balcony. It couldn't have been more perfectly situated. The desk staff was courteous and not unfriendly but not much more. When, returning at the end of a day, we found that there was no soap in the bath the front... More

We first walked into this place simply because it was below our hotel and it was the end of a long days drive. It became an anticipated part of our day. Upon first entering we were warmly greeted and seated by one of the servers, who quickly shifted into English for our benefit. We tried the price fixed menu, which... More
