We went to this restaurant with a lot of expectations based on reviews. Although the restaurant is not on the list of suggested Michelin restaurants, we still decided to try. The first dish was octopus and .... a - surprise it was chewy, smelled funny and tasted real bad - definitely not the 1st or even the 2nd freshness you... More

We had the parillade of fish and each and everyone of them was truly delicious. The octopus to start is a must. The location is also convenient - avoid the restaurants on the front of the beach in favor of this one also close - and then get an ice cream for the view! Casa Leon is a good restaurant... More

Mon dieu but the menu is only in French! English is spoken though. The wine list is quite exhaustive and ranges from relatively inexpensive to very pricey. Pate and local hams are excellent as were desserts. Meat looked fleshy enough and no one was ill after eating it. The fish dishes/platters for two looked fabulous and were eaten with great gusto... First time couldn't be faulted. Excellent food and service made for a very enjoyable evening. Five stars. However went again on our last night in Collioure Different story. Waiter spilt fish soup over companion's white shirt and trousers. He went to get changed and try to wash the stains out without success. On returning to the table there was no... More

We were recommended this restaurant by someone staying in the same hotel as us. Luckily we asked the hotel to book a table as it was a really busy evening. The fish was exceptional, one of the best meals we've had in a long time.

Fish is great! Fresh ingredients. Make sure you call in advance if you want a table in front of the restaurant.

We ate at this restaurant after being recommended by our hotel. The menu looked good so we were willing to wait 1hr 15 mins for an outside table. We eventually sat down at 9.45 and our waitress was clearly less than happy for some reason. There was definitely an attitude and resentment there and no feeling that she needed to... More

We usually find French restaurants over cook their fish, but in our case, it was the opposite. Maybe the windy conditions over previous days had meant the fleet couldn't go out, but we are sure that our fish was frozen and had been thawed quickly, hence it was not cooked through. Probably our fault, as the waitress said that the... More

This is a very good seafood restaurant indeed, extremely fresh fish and seafood, cooked with technical precision and all at reasonable prices. Seriously worth a visit!

This was probably our favorite restaurant of our two-week trip to southern France and northern Spain. The fish, shrimp, mussels, etc. were all incredibly fresh and tasty. The sangria was light and refreshing, and the service very good. If we had been there earlier in our visit, we probably would have returned every evening. (It is good to make reservations.)
