We were very fortunate to secure a last minute reservation for 5 of us for New Years Eve. It must have been meant to happen because a superb night was had by all. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, the 6 course meal was divine, the free car parking was extremely convenient, the extra touches on the table was... More

When I am on holiday and it is light, I like a view. And this one is lovely. The service is good apart from the fact that our starter arrived far too quickly. We had only just ordered the wine and were taking the first mouthful of the amuse bouche. So we sent it back for 10 minutes.it was quite... More

One would expect a far better meal for a Michelin recommended restaurant The lunch completely lacked imagination and though presented nicely on the plate had no defining taste or interesting culinary features. We should have been alerted by the empty seats and the business of the surrounding restaurants. The gardens were unattended and basically unkempt Is this place in transition... More

Its a really lovely setting ( a tad windy when we were there but that wasn't a problem) and the food is stunning. However, the staff need to be trained - plates should be removed without leaning across the table and guests and if a meal with specially selected wines per course is ordered, guests should not need to remind... We booked here for our wedding anniversary. The setting was very romantic, with a wonderful view across the bay. The food was lovely & the staff were very attentive, a complimentary glass of champagne helped to make it even more special. Definitely worth a visit.

We came here fifteen years ago and had an excellent meal, but this time was a real disappointment, and very poor value for the money. Perhaps our mistake was to choose the Le Bacchus and Neptune menu -- the most expensive set menu, but we like having the wines specially chosen for each course. I suspect that Le Neptune was... We've visited the Neptune many times upstairs and down. The upstairs restaurant has a great value midi menu (€29) and also a €39 menu with great choice. The food is superb and the setting is breath-taking. We've brought friends and family and all agree it's an absolute treat.

This restaurant is located on a magnificent venue, with beach views. But the food is average, the service is of bad quality and the prices are too high for the plates served. Our white wine was served warm on a hot summer night, our waiter was lost with many guests to serve and we could not end our three-course meal... More

It's true what they say! The 39€ menu is superb. For £35 a head you have a gastronome's menu liberally interspersed with surprise 'amuse bouches' and 'petit fours' - all served at a suitably leisurely pace by a serving staff who thoroughly understand their craft and handle their diners with grace and charm. Add to this the panoramic view of the... More
