Delicious contemporary cuisine

Had a wonderful meal in this contemporary restaurant - my husband had the Cassoulet (best he has ever had) and I had a succulent Guinea Fowl. Service was very good and decor nice and modern. Highly recommend

Enjoyed a lovely romantic dinner here in early December. It was the only restaurant open in the medieval part of town, but did not disappoint. Filled up rather quickly with every tourist couple staying overnight. I ate a terrific (and large) cassoulet with very tasty duck. Nice selection of wines, including good regional varieties.

This is an excellent restaurant, inside the walls of Carcassone, which was recommended by my B&B. The food was top-notch, e.g. the cassoulet; the service was quite friendly and professional. There may be other good spots in Carcassone, but I doubt there's one better than this one.

This was a fine choice and well deserving of its Michelin star. Good quality traditional, well presented food. The service was excellent, particularly when the starter included grapefruit which I can't have, not a problem substitute provided with no fuss at all. Fabulous meal

Recommended by our B&B host as the best Cassoulet in town, we were not disappointed. Starters and deserts were top notch too - fine dining (at sensible prices) deserving of a Michelin Star. Will be back next year to dine from the Carte.

Good choice if you are up to local fare. Excellent cassoulet. Service was a bit slow, given the small nbr of waiters for the size of the rooms.

Assuming everything is a tourist trap in a tourist area may be correct for midtown Manhattan or Piccadilly but this was not the case in Carcassonne. We ate at Comte Roger and the meal was a but above excellent. The day was quiet for the second most visited tourist area in France but everyone from two small tours seemed to... More

When we visited Carcassonne, we wanted to get a taste of the 'Cassoulet'. But not the one that comes from a tin can, but made fresh by someone who knows how Cassoulet is to be made. Le Comte Roger did not disappoint. A perfect evening of fine dining in the authentic narrow streets of the medieval city. I would suggest... More
